We love Virtual Console but man fuck writing a full review of something we just paid six dollars for. Have a Quick Hit instead.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney on the DS was a fresh take on the mostly forgotten adventure genre, blending plenty of humor with some very creative puzzles to solve and an intriguing storyline. On Wiiware, you get... well, the same thing. Literally - they just converted the game to run on the Wii. No upscaling the graphics for a larger screen, no real interface improvments, it's just programmed to zoom out and reveal a secondary screen whenever you need to utilize an item for something. Oh, and for some asinine reason, you need to buy Case 5 seperately for an extra 100 Wii points - especially asinine when you consider that what you're downloading takes up one extra block of space. They're literally charging you to unlock something you've already paid for and downloaded.

So yeah, if you've bought this one on the DS, there's no real reason to bother with it on Wiiware. If you absolutely can't find a copy, though, this is a decent alternative.
