Now that we've seen the kind of writing and character building we're dealing with, there's not really a great deal of point in continuing to read this stuff - it's all the same rambling, badly-worded, formulaic hero-with-a-million-deus-ex-machinas-up-his-sleeve shlock as any given Dragonball Z or Bleach or Naruto copycat, just with a vague Earthbound and 90s PC game flavor. Not to mention that there's so god damn much of this stuff that it rivals David Weber's body of work in sheer volume. So to spare you the pain, here's Mary Sue's bio, chronicling each and every one of her world-shattering (literally) superpowers in meticulous detail. Actually, "spare you the pain" is probably a bit too kind. This article is so damned long that it's almost as bad as just reading the stuff directly. So uh... enjoy this shit! Hahaha! UPDATE: It's so damned long that it's breaking the edit window's scrolling. Be DOUBLY afraid! Test1 The hallmark of any professional web page - the title is simply "Test1" or "Blank Template" or "Untitled Document" WARNING: SERIOUS AND HEAVY SPOILERS ARE PRESENT IN THIS ARTICLE. And we care not one whit! Sandra Polestar is the primary created character of Jack Walker, creator of The Misfits, The War of the Omens(also called WOTO), The Magic of Green(also called TMOG), EarthBound Doom and Don Miguel's Adventures: Unofficial Edition(also called DMA:UE). That name sounds familiar. Wasn't Don Miguel that Russian guy who translated RPG Maker 2000? Why would you make a fan fiction about him? I've heard of worse things to write a fanfic about. UPDATE: Apparently this is just the author's expansion off of the crappy demo game that came packaged with the translated RPG Maker program that includes Mary Sue and her buddies as playable characters. I'm not sure why you'd expand an entire game off of a short demo that has basically no plot behind it, but he did it! She is the premise of over nine-and-a-half years of focus and creative work, centered into a single character. Which is both impressive and depressing at the same time. She is seen in almost all of the above series at one point or another. In The Misfits, she has not yet actually appeared in the main series, but Walker has spoken to his friends of an alternate universe which he has not yet decided to write about directly, Oh wonderful, a self-insert Gary Stu character is also in our future! Or was, until this wiki page sapped our collective morale for the project to absolute zero. where a different group of Misfits exist, including Sandra and Nina's friend Katt(mentioned by Nina in the 9/11 Saga) 9/11 Saga? I don't even know where he took that idea but I don't like the sound of it already. as the first two main female characters to appear in said universe. He states more than likely that the two universes will meet at one point, allowing them to appear in the main story. What will happen to Sandra in The Misfits is unknown though as of this point. In The Magic of Green, she is the story's central character, being seen from the age of 5 when she is taken from her homeworld of Earth, and taken to the distant world of Santranus in the Maetel Galaxy, until the age of 15, about to her first appearance in The War of the Omens, in which she also appears as a central, although no longer the only main character of the series. In War of the Omens, Sandra reunites with her fracternal twin Paula, A run-on sentence, bad grammar, and now a sloppy misspelling. The unholy trinity is assembled. and the two of them reestablish their lost bonds and family ties over the years, while fighting off the many threats that come to Earth and the rest of the universe, and even sometimes beyond their own universe. To the Gonterverse, the Marvel Multiverse, the DC Universe, the Image universe, the Archie Sonic universe, the Mangaverse, the Matrixverse... and beyond! Sandra and Paula are not the sole focuses of WOTO, however they are seen often, almost in every major story Walker plans for the series, usually alongside many other characters, some usually the same, others different depending on the novel in WOTO in question. Additionally, her story for TMOG is still the precursor for most of her past in The Misfits, according to Walker's own words, stating that basically those 10 years happened to Sandra in all of his known mythos', not just in the WOTO mythos. And now we're getting into endlessly confusing multiple parallel timelines and canon-crossing as well. In Don Miguel's Adventures: Unofficial Edition, Is he implying that there's an OFFICIAL edition of the RPG Maker guy's adventures? That demo game is G-Canon (Absolute), Don Miguel's Adventures: Unofficial Edition is C-Canon (Canon unless contradicted by G-Canon) and all fan-created expansions off of the original demo game are N-Canon (Non-Canon). Walkers Did he just spell his own NAME wrong? A new low for fanboys! states Sandra has actually lived an additional 3 or more years on Santranus due to the purposes of the story. In the game, the player must first assemble a spaceship from Bulma Briefs and use it to find the Maetel Galaxy(DMA:UE is in fact the first mentioning of Santranus being in the Maetel Galaxy in any of his mythos), Santranus? I love that guy! "Got a black magic woman..." and then Santranus in order to find her, and she is the last of three secret characters, also required to get the true ending of the game. You also have to collect every treasure chest, read every line of dialog, complete all mini-games with a 100% rating, collect every available weapon, armor, accessory and item, and sacrifice a virgin goat to Kali-ma or you've only done 99%. In Ben "DrAndonuts" Jenkins' No relation to Leeroy, I presume. alternate-reality fiction of Frozen, Sandra returns 2 years early from Santranus, after the Phantom Zone's first attack on Santranus, She refused to kneel before Zod. and she returns to the middle of an invasion of Earth by a group of multi-racial aliens on a spaceship know as the Nomad, lead by Captain Jamar, using an "Ultra Stasis Array" to freeze almost all of the Earth in a time field, however her inherit resistance to such helps her fight alongside many other allies, including Robert Mitchell Reginald, aka "Happy Bob the Homicidal Maniac", A name worthy of anyone's trust! in which both slowly begin to form a relationship with one another. If you're at all familiar with fan fiction, that is never, EVER a good sign. Frozen is the only universe to yet give us a true idea of a possible love interest for Sandra. In Sean "Cacodemon Leader" Gauthier's Cacodemon Squad mod for Doom 2, Sandra makes a cameo in the form of less-advanced, evil-natured clones of herself that are created by events from the Daleks' appearance in TMOG and gathering samples of her DNA as a project of making armies of evil, less sentient clones of various heroes and powerful beings around space and time. The effects of their dark wizardry were also seen in Final Fantasy VII, King of Fighters '99, TMNT Tournament Fighters on the Genesis, Barney Blast, and F-Zero GX. The Sandra clones are among the strongest normal enemies in the game, making even the first half or so of the game's bosses look easy in comparison. In EarthBound Doom, Ah yes, EarthBound DOOM. A now infamous Doom modification that features Paula as a playable character along with every enemy from nearly every FPS made before Quake. Including, but not limited to - Doom, Duke Nukem 3D, Wolfenstein, Shadow Warrior, some crappy school-shooting mod for DOOM (way to perpetuate THAT negative stereotype), Heretic and Hexen. Ambitious, to say the least. However, its infamy springs from its largely unfinished state, terrible level design, hideous HUD and textures, awful music, bloated size and needlessly complex install process, getting it scorned as a large and elaborate joke WAD. Also, it hasn't been updated since 2002, so it looks like any chance of seeing a completed version is nil. Please don't tell me you've been playing that mess for "research purposes". Nope, it's all right there on the Doom Wiki. Why put yourself through torture when someone else has already done it for you? I also found a playthrough of it on Youtube. no true sightings or references to Sandra have yet been made, but it is worth noting the monsters page on the EarthBound Doom website has a special bio at the bottom, in which a sillhoute of a familar-shaped character appears, with a six-letter name of question marks. This, and the fact that EarthBound Doom is in fact a quasi-sequel to Cacodemon Squad(Walker and Gauthier have worked together on both mods, and have established vauge connections between the two games), suggest that Sandra in some form, be it a visual appearance or a verbally mentioned cameo, will be in the game. You're outright spoiling the suprise for us, then going back and saying it "might possibly happen" in a last-ditch effort to build hype. That's... wow. Another possible clue actually relates to Frozen, where Gauthier's own unique characters, Squissy Demon and Lichie Lich, Evil undead cousin of Richie Rich, presumably. both characters from Cacodemon Squad, appear in the later parts of Frozen to give the Earth people assistance against the Nomad and it's now renegade scientist, Nole. This gives even greater possiblity that Sandra may appear in EarthBound Doom. In all actuality, she does make a inadventant cameo in the third linear map of the game, however not in the form of an actual character: her face, copied from an art of her made by an artist named Emilio "emiliosan" Orsi is made into a large room, which is in fact the level's Super Secret. Plagiarized for your pleasure! She has learned in the course of her 24-25 year life upwards of over 830 different abilities, which are divided into a diverse number of categories as listed below. So we can hear all about every single one of her many, many, MANY powers individually, of course. Eight hundred and THIRTY? Damn, son. Pass a few of those around to the other heroes of your universe. There are no other heroes, there is only Mary... I mean... SANDRA SUE POLESTAR! 7.3.2 White Magic 7.3.2.1 White Magic is mostly considered as 'Healing', 'Ailment-Healing' and 'Holy-Elemental' abilities, mostly in the classic Final Fantasy tradition of the same magic class. Ah, blatant plagiarism. Where would the creative medium be without you? Probably a lot better off. 7.3.3 Gray Magic 7.3.3.1 Gray Magic is generally known as assistance magic. Most of them are meant to supplement or alter an ally or enemy's properties or inflict status ailments. Some are also used for barriers or extra defense. Most forms of Time Magic also seem to fall into this area.' It's the tree of magic that only sees use in one or two particularly tough boss fights, then gets pushed to the bottom of your spell list and never touched again. 7.3.4 Black Magic 7.3.4.1 Black Magic is basically pure offensive and attacking. Gravity-based spells also fall under this category. 7.3.5 Blue Magic 7.3.5.1 Blue Magic are unique abilities (not always purely magicial in nature) usually learned from monsters or other enemy combatants by witnessing or experiencing the spell used in battle. In some cases, the Blue Magic user must actually be hit by the spell to learn it, while in other cases, merely seeing it will trigger their learning of it. Not that she needs to use Goblin Punch or Level 5 Doom considering that, as we will see, she is literally strong enough to SHATTER PLANETS and REND THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE ASUNDER. 7.3.6 Rahtop Magic 7.3.6.1 The Word "Rahtop" is actually "Pothar" backwards, and "Pothar" is composed of the first three letters in the first and last name of Harry Potter. Basically, these are spells from the Harry Potter Books and Movies. Which require a wand to cast, incantations to be said, and are generally mild cantrips when compared to Final Fantasy's powers of summoning firestorms, meteors and the wrath of entire pantheons upon your foes. 7.3.7 Rahtop Curses 7.3.7.1 These are the three "unforgivable curses" from the Harry Potter series. As a general note, Sandra has never used the Killing or Torture Curses, but she has sparingly used the Controlling Curse on various enemies to get them to reveal information. Good to know she's using highly illegal and dangerous magic from the dark lord himself responsibly. 7.3.8 Miscellaneous Magic 7.3.8.1 Sandra's list of spells mostly are covered in this section. These spells are miscellaneous and while some may normally fall under other classes above, many of these are spells few other magi or wizards can use when compared to the likes of the other classes of magic. Some of these abilities are truly unique to Sandra, such as Maisei or Furasshubakka. 7.3.9 Unique Spells of Sandra's Personal Creation 7.3.9.1 These are the abilities and spells that Sandra herself has created and is the first, if not the ONLY person to be able to use them in any shape or form at the current time. More redundant headings! 7.3.10 Summon Spirits 7.3.10.1 Permenant 7.3.10.2 Non-Permenant 7.3.10.3 Unofficial 7.4 Ki Skills 7.5 PK Skills 7.6 Sugemo Skills 7.7 Chakra Skills 7.8 Alchemy Skills 7.9 Skills Combining Either Ki, Magic, PK, Sugemo, Chakra or Alchemy 7.9.1 Physical/PK 7.9.2 Physical/Magic 7.9.3 Physical/Sugemo 7.9.4 Physical/Chakra 7.9.5 Physical/Alchemy 7.9.6 Ki/PK 7.9.7 Ki/Magic 7.9.8 Ki/Sugemo 7.9.9 Ki/Chakra 7.9.10 Ki/Alchemy 7.9.11 PK/Magic 7.9.12 PK/Sugemo 7.9.13 PK/Chakra 7.9.14 PK/Alchemy 7.9.15 Magic/Sugemo 7.9.16 Magic/Chakra 7.9.17 Magic/Alchemy 7.9.18 Sugemo/Chakra 7.9.19 Sugemo/Alchemy 7.9.20 Chakra/Alchemy 7.9.21 Ki/PK/Magic 7.9.22 Ki/PK/Sugemo 7.9.23 Ki/Magic/Sugemo 7.9.24 PK/Magic/Sugemo 7.9.25 Ki/PK/Magic/Sugemo Okay, okay. Stop. This is just getting to be overkill. It's not enough that you have elemental magic of all flavors, summoning magic, monk magic, Dragonball magic, psychic powers, AND alchemy, but now you have to have COMBINATIONS of all of the above? You know, what makes a character an effective character is not just piling on powers by the truckload. It's giving them a balance of strengths, limitations and weaknesses, then forcing them to rely on teamwork and/or ingenuity to escape dangerous situations and defeat foes stronger than themselves. Think about it - would Jojo's Bizarre Adventure have been half the series it was if the characters didn't constantly come up with inventive ways to utilize their powers and combat their foes, regardless of what form they took? Would Price of Persia 2008 have been nearly as memorable if not for the great dynamic between the main characters and the way they fight and maneuver the game environment in tandem? Hell, even Dragonball - a series which I despise - illustrates my point. Like the first battle with Raditz - Goku and Piccolo were no match for him individually, but together they were able to combine their strengths, cover for one another's weaknesses, and overcome a much stronger opponent. As is, this whole saga just sounds like it's going to be one long, drawn out Steven Seagal movie - there's no vested interest in the story because you know the enemy is never going to lay a finger on him and he's going to easily take out every foe in his path with clumsy martial arts and bad editing. 7.10 Miscellaneous Skills For everything that somehow doesn't fall under summoning powers, monk powers, Dragonball powers, psychic powers, alchemy, or the real kicker, MAGIC. I don't think Superman was this much of a Mary Sue. Even in the era when he could literally get a new superpower whenever he wanted! 7.11 Ultimate Abilities 8 Matters and Issues Related to Sandra Oh, we've barely even scratched the surface of this article and I can already think of a ton. 9 External Links [edit] Character Summary The character of Sandra is meant to symbolize being different, and to be considered being an enigma to others. Just like every other Mary Sue character in existence! But it worked so well for Rei Ayanami! ...Oh wait, no it didn't. Sandra's appearance alone in contrast to most other Earth humans alone is an indicator, with her pink-colored hair and violet-colored eyes. Few other humans stand out in a similar manner as she does, her uncle Clyde(DMA:UE and WOTO) and cousin Tara(DMA:UE and WOTO) being the only other Earth humans with oddly colored hair as she is aware of. It's time for the The Mary Sue checklist! Unusual hair and eye color? Check. Sandra also is a alagmation of archetypes, in an attempt to counter various stereotypes. Isn't an archetype a kind of stereotype or convention by its very definition? Yes, yes it is. So she combines numerous stereotypes together to... combat stereotyping. Examples of being an archetype are in her ability to wield the forces of magic, but at the same time possess monsterous amounts of physical strength and speed in battle, countering first the stereotype of mages and magic users being physically weak and slow of foot, and second countering the stereotype that monks and fighters have only little if any knowledge of magic and are somewhat dense in personality, combining the strengths of both types, while negating the negative aspects at the same time. All the pluses and none of the minuses of the spectrum of superpowers? Check. I think that this falls more under "game balance" than "stereotyping". There's no point in picking the Mage class if the Fighter class can cast all of the Mage's spells while being able to absorb twenty times as much damage, now is there? She also counters the stereotype of the usual female lead character, who is hopelessly dependant on the main male hero, as Sandra herself possesses little if any real dependancies in any other characters, except for her good friend Darren in the very early parts of TMOG when she is stranded and without a home. What's this guy been playing and watching? I can think of plenty of strong, independent heroines. Hell, I may just make a top ten of that. She was FIVE YEARS OLD in that story and she still managed to repel an extradimensional invasion, run at over 250 miles an hour and assist in the takedown of a giant dragon. But having to accept outside help for being slightly injured during the last fight and unfamiliar with the place she found herself in? Unforgivable! From there on, she matures into an alagmation of an independant girl out to show her true self to all and to help those she deems friend and of good natures, and one review of her character on the guestbook of Walker's bio on Sandra has even referred to her as "iron wrapped in a velvet glove". Standout heroine who relies on no one? Check. Her character is composed of the RPG classes of various types of mages, the monk and the fighter, and Walker has given Sandra her own class: known as the Green Mage, or Green Magi, to which some what the title of TMOG is based from. So in other words, she's the Red Mage, just with more advantages and none of the disadvantages the Red Mage possesses (namely, not being as strong as the Fighter or Monk, having overall weaker equipment, and having access to fewer spells than pure White or Black Mage classes). If only he knew that years later, Final Fantasy XII would have a school of Green (support) magic. There weren't really green magi, per se, as the game lacked a concrete class system, but it does open the possibility that they exist in the Final Fantasy universe. Or the Ivalice Alliance, at least. NEEEEEEERD! Character that singlehandedly defines a new class and dynamic? Check. [edit] The Genesis of Sandra From the words of Jack Walker himself, it is believed that Sandra was first conceived on the night of November 23, 1996, at age 12, as a dream Walker had as a child just prior to a one-week vacation in Kentucky. However, the Sandra we know now is vastly different in many ways from her birth-incarnation. According to Walker, Sandra had a longer, red hair in a similar style to her sister Paula, wore a strange red outfit similar to a dress, and resembled Alys of Phantasy Star IV to an extent. Oh man, don't drag my favorite RPG series into this, Phantasy Star is cool! Stick to the mediocre dreck that every other fan fiction writer in the universe loves to death! The dream in his words resembled a sort of video game, much similar in appearance to the RPG EarthBound. In fact, Walker states that the characters Ness, Jeff and Poo where in the same party as Sandra was in that dream, and Paula had been missing, which had been what started off the idea she would later be designated as Paula's twin sister. When some people dream of video games, they awake and think to themselves "I probably need to get out more". Others base their entire creative vision around it. At this time, Sandra had no name, and Walker almost shrugged off the dream, but times in Kentucky in the next few days allowed him to begin forming an idea for this character and her connection to the other characters in the dream. As mentioned, one of which was that she ended up being Paula's sister in blood, and eventually adopted the name of "Sandy", which in the present day is seldom used in various Walker-created mythos as Paula's nickname for Sandra when they're together and joking around. Originally, he felt Sandra would have a later relationship to Jeff in the same manner the game of EarthBound suggests that Paula might have a future relationship with Ness. Um... no. It didn't. I can say this as someone who has played through EarthBound, from start to finish, no less than five times. Now Ninten and Anna from Earthbound ZERO, on the other hand... Over a few years however, Sandra was seldom used, and Walker(at the time under the internet alias "Tengu Man") had more a fixation of writing about Paula herself in his stories, she being his favorite EarthBound character, and tied with Bubsy as his other most favorite character in any video game, Bubsy the Bobcat? THAT Bubsy?! (Raucuous laughter) Ahha.. hahahahaha. Oh man. Oh... man. That's gold. Seriously though, who honestly liked Bubsy the Bobcat? That franchise was the poster child of lazy design and misguided attempts to cash in on a popular trend. In this case, the waves of wisecracking animal mascot characters in video games and cartoons, generally attributed to the rise of Sonic the Hedgehog. Yeah, Bubsy was the epitome of lame. How stupid is it for a character in a fast-paced sidescrolling platformer (heavily derived from Sonic, no less) to die from falling long distances or running too hard into objects? Dare I even bring up the dreadful Playstation 1 game, a hideous, buggy, broken, poor-controlling, obnoxious mess that is widely regarded as one of the very worst video games ever made? Don't forget the shitty cartoon, which is a top contender for the worst video game adaptation of all time. The story makes no sense, it was incredibly loud, screechy and obnoxious, and not one joke within was even slightly funny. Not one! Yep. Say what you want about the USA adaptations of Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and Darkstalkers - sure, they were badly written and animated on a budget of eight bucks an episode, but they were funnier by accident than Bubsy was in 22 minutes of desperately trying! The lesson is thus: Countless companies tried to cash in on Sega's success with their own "edgy" animal mascots, but nearly all of them overlooked the most important fact of all - that nobody would have liked Sonic if his games weren't any good. You can tack on as many cheap gimmicks as you want, but in the end, all that matters is you make a quality GAME. Amen. thus any roles he had Sandra in at the time were more as support to Paula than actual spotlight time for her. However in that timeframe Walker had also given her appearance a change, more towards what most know her to appear to this day. Instead of red hair, he chose a light-shade of Pink, and changed her hair-style to look slightly shorter, and her bangs either hanging down, or more commonly each put to the side, one set slightly longer than the others. She was also given a special one-piece black outfit, and a pair of arm-length gloves in a matching set to the suit. She originally also had a special rabbit-like pet from Santranus, which the pet would later be retconned, and turned into the basis of an animal-based form Sandra could take on in later parts of WOTO. Exotic animals and/or shapeshifting (because her original form apparently just wasn't enough?) Check. The new Sandra, though still known as Sandy, appeared in a now defunct Interactive Fiction known as If Giygas Won..., where she was still support to Paula, not doing a huge amount of actual fighting or interaction. Ah, interactive fiction. Where not one, but SEVERAL authors set out to systematically destroy every aspect of their favorite franchise for all to see. However one scene in iGW is believed to be the basis of Sandra's monsterous amount of physical strength she now has in present day: a scene in which a legion of Starmen led by a special advanced Starman were attacking a city. Sandra appeared and confronted the head Starman, and gutted it on her fist and destroying the Starman in a single blow, opening the road to Walker's later development on her physical strength factor. Do Starmen even have guts? I always figured they were some kind of robot. Starman Deluxe spoke in a robotic tone, so I think that's a pretty safe bet. In the next couple of years, Sandra's name would be reverse-named from Sandy to Sandra, You could have just said "changed". from an idea a friend named rosch had for an item known as the "Sandra Pendant". The "Sandy" nickname was reversed and used only as a nickname from this point on, and this is also where it is believed Walker began to focus his efforts on Sandra more than just on Paula or other characters in his own mythos. I'm confused. Is the author writing this or is it one of his friends? Either way, they're trying way too hard to sound ambiguous and laden with mystery when they're talking about this character's creation. The concept of Sandra being an extremely powerful magi came from Walker's exposure to the Final Fantasy series, and the memory of Sandra having some form of magic in iGW that she used in battle. Walker began to construct more data on Sandra, giving her a backstory, a better understanding of her past, even explaining into why Sandra wasn't present to help Paula during the events of EarthBound: because she had been sent to a lost world for 10 years as a young child, and hadn't returned until 2 years after EarthBound ended. And wouldn't you know it, neither her parents, nor her sister, nor anybody else in Twoson, neighboring towns, or the WORLD thought to write down or say a word to Ness about the events leading to her disappearance! He began to develop into history of what he originally conceived as the main part of Santranus, but we would later learn was the large continent of Reldempis on Santranus, and of the more dark-age like technology and living conditions of the people, and of their constant use of magic and supernatural forces to fight any enemies on the world. Overtime, the ideas of Darren, Grant, Gallon, Carnes and many others were born into what Walker would eventually call "The Magic of Green". Walker originally gave Sandra a few spells out of Final Fantasy 6(although he knew it as the American version at the time), although they were called by their translated English names(i.e. Fire, Ice, Bolt, Poison, Pearl, etc). Then he found the crowd that hates Ted Woolsey and wishes for his head on a pike for DARING to take creative liberties with a dry and fairly emotionless script, and joined their ranks without a thought as all good fanboys do! Over time, as Walker began to get more into Japanese related matters and also the formation of The Misfits, he began renaming the spells to their Japanese names, and also many of Sandra's other powers were given quasi-Japanese names through translating programs online that he had found. Can I call it, or what? Babelfish, look at the madness ye have wrought! By the end of the year 2003, Sandra's bio was officially up on the internet, and Sandra had a little over 100 spells. However this was only the start of the creative cycle. More and more time passed, and Walker begin thinking more into the concept of his "Green Mage" title he had given Sandra at times, interchangibly calling it "The Green Prodigy" and "The Green Child". Some people who were aware of her existance were confused to her title, since nothing on Sandra appeared to be green at all[see "The Green Child", below]. This is why I tend to find it's not wise to define your characters based on a single color. Or a single natural element. Or a single anything, really. As of mid-March 2006, Sandra has vastly evolved from her 1996 counterpart, having become a major focus of Walker's ideas and expensures, all the while as he works on The Misfits, DMA:UE and various other projects, intergrating her into several of these in some form or another. Authors do not totally understand how to flag Sandra in relation to Walker himself, since Sandra is by no means based off himself, and the fact Walker is male and not female to boot only confuses people more. The answer, dear reader, is that Mary Sues come in all shapes and sizes. It is also assumed Walker has a somewhat better understanding of women's personalities in general despite not ever actually having a relationship with any girl in real life(although he has his share of female friends). Somehow, that doesn't surprise me. This might be also attributed to his becoming mature much sooner than most teenagers and trying to view things and conflicts from multiple points of view before making a decision, a contrast to his original self under the "Tengu Man" alias, where he was more brash and rebellious in some ways, making decisions too quickly and making too many mistakes. The author is "mature" and a "renegade" who "thinks outside the box" while being endlessly derivative? Check. Check-a-roony! You know, super strength is something that always bothered me in the way it's depicted. I mean, it doesn't really matter how strong you are, you're simply not going to be able to lift and throw entire buildings or train cars or anything much larger than yourself for the same reason why you need two or more people to lift large but relatively light furniture - it's not the weight, but the sheer bulk of it that prevents you from exerting any leverage over the object. And even if you could somehow catch, say, a building that was falling sideways, wouldn't any part of it that you're not currently touching just continue to fall and crumble apart? If I remember correctly, Superman had "tactile telekinesis" so if he touched something, it exerted his strength evenly over the entire surface of the object. Hence why he could do things like carry the entire Statue of Liberty by its finger and not have its arm break off or the rest of its body dragging along the ground. NEEEEEEERDS! Number of Magic Spells (WOTO): 830+ Other Notes: ~ ^ (This value is more than likely not her maximum due to the fact she is seen curling this much with her arms alone in a single training session in later parts of WOTO. Her true estimate might be several times greater than this number) Apparently that's just not enough, so look for that already incomprehensibly high number to jump EVEN FURTHER in our adventures! [edit] Quotes from Sandra "Something from both me and your mother. She is still watching you, Bob... she is very much still watching you." - Sandra to Robert Reginald II in Frozen "Sometimes what appears to be bad luck can quickly change to good luck. Never despair, for there is always a light at the end of the tunnel..." - Sandra's quote on her biography in Don Miguel's Adventures: Unofficial Edition But sometimes it's just a freight train coming your way. "Hallowed NOT are the Ori..." - Sandra's opinion on the Ori in War of the Omens Her one and only weakness: Dyslexia! "Fighting undead... fighting demons... fighting demon gods... it's all dangerous. I live a dangerous lifestyle, even if I don't encourage it to you. Don't do what I do at home. I'm what you might call a professional. I do this stuff for a living." "But I'm stronger than God and literally invincible, so I myself am in no danger whatsoever." "I will allow you to continue your self-destructive path, for we are both enemies of the Ori... but if I find you ever doing anything to threaten us or even worse, my friends and family directly, I will quickly snuff your life out like a candle." - Sandra speaking harshly of Hades the Apophis-Class Dalek in a heated verbal spar. "One Dalek is said to have enough power to slaughter over a city of unprepared humans with no warning. And yet, it seems when I'm on watch, the shoe is on the other foot. That's why you're being so evasive. You're all afraid of me because of how easily I took care of your friends on Santranus when I was only a little girl!" - Sandra to a large congregation of Daleks trying to swarm her to death. Oh come on, leave Doctor Who out of this too. Doctor Who is cool! "I've come to learn in many ways not to disregard even one single person's role in existance. Underestimating even the lowliest-looking creature in the universe can spell disaster for you with that attitude." - Sandra speaking to Davros after his anticipated return from the War of the Medusa Cascade. [edit] Quotes about Sandra "I admit I depise you more than I've ever despised any one being in my first life, little girl. However at the same time, the defiance and determination in your eyes... it's just like Sarah's own..." - Count Serin Nagar to Sandra during their climatic battle in the "Castle Damiaou Saga" of "The Magic of Green" "I don't understand it! I detest your very existance, and yet somehow I cannot stop thinking of your role in this conflict. Why do I think like such an idiot?!" - Firebrand, The Red Crusader to Sandra in the earlier parts of the "Demon's Crest Saga" of "The Magic of Green" Now you're bringing Ghosts n' Goblins into this too? This just keeps getting worse. "And that brings me to you. You are nothing like Firebrand. You are void of the destructive, beastly nature of my arch-nemesis. You aren't even a true Demon, but just a mere human girl! And yet you single-handedly defeated Arma THREE times, defeated my lesser generals and have done more damage than Firebrand himself! You are indeed a brave human, if not blitheringly idiotic for challenging me and the powers of the Demon's Crest!" - Phalanx Breager to Sandra and Firebrand right before their battle starts in the "Demon's Crest Saga" of "The Magic of Green" "Listen here, punk. She ain't just a girl, she's a beautiful girl." - Robert Reginald II to Ness Itoi about Sandra in "Frozen" Itoi is a... strange choice for Ness' surname. "Franklin" also seems to be a popular choice for some reason. I prefer it just be left ambiguous, personally. "I might call The Doctor 'The Destroyer of Worlds' my dear, but you fall in your own category. You muse around, destroying anyone and anything that threatens your human people and their so called 'justice' without even looking back! You are the 'Reaper of Universes'! And I'm just another notch on your kill-list, aren't I?!" - Davros attempting to goad Sandra into a confrontation after his return from the War of the Medusa Cascade. So, for those keeping score, we now have EarthBound, Final Fantasy, Harry Potter, Dragonball, Gargoyle's Quest, Doctor Who and Bubsy the goddamn bobcat. Multiple universe spanning event combining several largely incompatible games and character styles (and the less sensical, the better)? Check. I know he was in that crappy Dungeons and Dragons movie, but come on, that's hardly a reason to declare him your mortal enemy! [edit] Personality Sandra's personality consists of a protective, somewhat motherly nature for her friends, and especially her family. She is much like the "Denmother from Hell" personality in this situation, usually taking it upon herself to confront an enemy if they appear far too threatening for her friends to handle alone. Also, due to this nature, she is also easily annoyed when her allies and friends clown and joke around in battle against especially-serious enemies, and normally takes it upon herself to either berate them or push/pull them aside to handle the matter herself, usually much to the agitiation and anger of the jokers in question, to which she usually berates thems further and in more detail for their clowning. How DARE you attempt to have a sense of humor while fighting the Enraged Fire Plug! This is EARTHBOUND, damn it, and EarthBound is Serious Business! Protective, motherly, and equipped with a berserk button? Check. She herself is to the point in battle, usually taking out some of her enemies in anticlimatic manners, without provoking a long and needless battle. Additionally, Sandra usually fights with her bare hands in physical combat[her gloves do little to add attack strength, so they are not generally counted as "weapons"], No love for Kumatora, I guess. and seldom ever uses an actual weapon. When she does, she usually uses something of blunt nature such as a hammer, a whip, or other impactive or crushing weapons. She can also use the Sword of Truth, but we almost never actually see her use it. Her most cherished weapon when used, is the Chibiko Hammer, a large mallet with polymorphic properties. Hitting someone with this can sometimes 'Minimize' them, and can additionally transform them into a Kappa Imp, transform them into a Chicken, transform them into a Pig, or transform them into a Sheep, making it a very devastating weapon for its' aftereffects. Except on bosses and anything else you might actually WANT to transform, at which point its special effect becames utterly useless. She also feels that bladed weapons are a little overrated, and that blunt weapons can be just as effective in battle as any sword. "Scientific analysis that states otherwise? Bah!" Actually, she's right. Witness my personal favorite, buckshot fired from a pump-action shotgun. Sandra is stated to be pure of heart, although at times, this can but put slightly into doubt by her fun-loving nature when she is not training. She never swears and curses in generic cuss words, and always uses a less-damaging variation of a swear in the appropriate situations. Whaddaya mean no swearing? That's how I sell my shit, motherfucker! She is extremely adversive to evil beings, and cautious of allies and enemies alike who use a large amount of dark-related magic or dark-elemental powers. However she can also appear to have a very happy nature when she isn't worried about something or being annoyed or ticked off by a friend or enemy nearby. Sandra also harbors a bit of an "overworked" feeling when it comes to having to come into a battle to save her weaker allies' hides often, and complains to herself and other accquaintances that her friends need to get better at dealing with situations without her, fearing she'll one day not be there to take out an enemy, and people dying for her absense, and the fact her friends need to take battle more seriously. Given that you have literally every power available in SEVERAL universes, I doubt they'll ever need to worry about that. She seems to especially show this in The Misfits at various characters, including but not limited to Alex Binder, Virgil Jones and sometimes even Vernon Tyler. Sandra is also the type that hates group-hatreds and putdowns, usually from supremecists and elitists, and she also loathes arrogance in large abundances. Always fighting for the little guy? Checkaroo! She also has the tendacy to get really angry at pigheaded men who try to claim women have no right to fight or have their own free will, and usually reacts with varying degrees of reprimendant, or in some other way to make them think twice about their words. Firaga to the face! She also has the tendacy to get mad at men who try to ask her to stay behind them and heal or fight from the back row, and she'll usually reply by giving them a 'light' smack on the head or so. Which, given her immeasurable strength, is enough to reduce them to a bloody pancake on the street. When confronted with another woman with self-doubts or those who believe they don't deserve free will, she will usually single them out alone and give them a sort of pep talk to increase their confidence and destroy their self-doubts. Why do I suddenly foresee this whole saga being very, VERY preachy? She will also get mad at women who put down men in similar ways, and she has a couple of times come upon this reversed look at gender inequality before. And of course, any guy attempting to take her against her will ends up getting their butt kicked soundly to the point of being unable to do anything but eat from a straw. Sandra also possesses a deeply buried, but powerful storm of emotional strength. Her most powerful abilities draw on her emotions, and she has been known to gain a temporary boost of astronomical power whenever she sees a friend critically wounded or even killed in front of her own eyes. On top of those beyond-godly powers she ALREADY has? Wow. In one case, when she discovered of Darren's dead body in the forest in 1992, and then encountered his killer Acryliss, she appeared to draw on her grief and anger at him to reach into a well of seemingly infinite potential and power and promptly destroyed the elite-snakeman guardian of Count Nagar with a single punch that pierced out of his back, and froze him solid in seconds, then shattered by a kick. This same burst of emotions also allowed Sandra to gain understanding of her Soul-Linked magic power for the first time, and led her to master it over time. Sandra does her work with the belief that in order for one to accomplish something, that person must put faith in themself first and foremost before putting faith in others. Due to this way of thinking, she doesn't try to associate herself with the concept of religion and faith in higher beings that she doesn't actually encounter with her own senses or wits. Due to this, she tends to get edgy when people go around trying to force religious beliefs on herself, or people she knows that do not care to change their view of things, and she will usually get on peoples' cases about such. Oh yes, here comes the preachin'. Although she understands some people have different religions and faiths, she usually cautions others sternly to not go around stuffing their faith down other peoples' throats(it is in fact these reasons that she has sworn herself a bitter enemy of the Ori and their Doci, Priors and other fanatical worshippers). She and her sister Paula can both be considered partial-atheists, due to the fact that while they have no real religion, they have met beings that other humans and people could identify as deities or demons, such as Lord Cyros and Lord Minion, who are WOTO's equalvalent of God and Satan to an extent, although they do not exercise omnipotent powers despite being immortal and eternal beings, despite the ramifications either's deaths could cause. Ironic considering that Paula has a battle command called "Pray", and it is exclusively through this that the game's final battle is won! No regard for canon? Check. Romantically, Sandra has unique preferences from some girls and young women. She is not interested in how strong a man is physically, arcanially or mentally, due to the fact she is independant in the first place and doesn't expect the man in question to have power close to her own. She perfers personality in a man, and good will and good natures. As mentioned above, she is intolerant to jerks and others trying to manipulate her[or Paula in fact, due to their sibling bond], and gets madly on their case for such things. She also doesn't care about a guy's politicial power or how much money they possess, since Sandra has learned in her 10 years on Santranus to live without the pleasures of luxury, and the fact she hates having connections to government power, or even being the government power. Disney Princess syndrome? Check. However, despite her romantic preferences, and despite the fact she is unable to reproduce due to the long-term effects of Caranovas, she does not wish to have children anyways, despite having a great love for them. She for one feels a pregnacy would only prevent her from doing her job and could render her unable to do much. She also feels the child would gain too much pride in her, which could be scarred in the case she would die, just like her ally Zero X. Diamond and his daughter Katie Moyomota went through in the Frozenverse reality prior to her own return to Earth. She also fears of a future child being kidnapped, or used against her or others in some other manner by an enemy. And finally, due to her immortality, she fears the child won't inherit the immortality, and still die before her, even if it lives a full life, because many people never want to outlive their own children. Who wants to live forever when love must die? Who waits forever anyway? Due to these problems, Sandra has not had it easily finding love, and fears having a suitor might only be a curse on her because the suitor will more than likely be mortal as well, dying before she would, leaving a void of depression. As of now, she remains single and a virgin. Up until you read a certain hilarious story in this endless saga. [edit] Magicial Powers (It is believed that as of this point, Sandra possesses roughly 830+ magic spells.) Healing - Primarily attributed to her good-natured soul, and also her denmother personality above, Sandra has a sigificant foothold in the understand of white and healing magic, also holy-elemental magic that comes along with such training. Her healing abilities are keen to the point she can actually elevate an ally's health BEYOND it's normal levels to a certain point above, usually double or more, effectively allowing them to become "hypercharged". Or UBERcharged, you filthy plagiarist! Of course she can also use her healing magic on herself in critical situations and her powers are not limited to neutral or enemy targets, not that should would heal an enemy, but the option is still there. HA! Engine limitations are no match for ME! Honestly though, why bring it up if it's only really a limitation in the game's engine? It's not like you could just take a creative liberty in the event she should need to use magic on a friend or foe. Sandra even possesses a degree of resurrective powers, although she is not seen using them often, and cannot resurrect mass groups of slain people at a time. For that, we have to fall back on the catch-all deus ex machina of the Dragon Balls. Support - Sandra also possesses dozens of support, debilitation, and assisting incantations and spells, allowing her to increase the immediate potiental of her allies, and lessen the immediate potential of enemies. Example include being able to hyper-elevate time around someone, or hyper-delevate time in the same manner. Others include being able to curse enemies, or affect the other properties of targets. Also known as "those crappy status spells that nobody ever uses because they never work" Attack - Sandra of course also possesses spells and incantations allowing her to attack enemies with various different elemental magic over a long distance. She is capable of Fire, Ice, Thunder, Water, Air, Earth, Poison, Holy, Dark, and Typeless[or neutral] elemental attacks, and she has the history of learning as many as 16 different levels for most of these elementals. She isn't as versed in Poison magic, and she learns Typeless elemental spells at a slower rate than her other elementals though. But that's okay because they're the two crap elements nobody ever uses. Blue Skills - Thanks to a special Dacklewood-oak wrapped book given to her by Gallon as a child, Sandra has also gained the understand of "Blue Skills", or the ability to pick up on and use enemy magic abilities that are normally unique only to them. Such examples include the "Revenge Blast" which she learned from the Devil Owl Aska, allowing her to use her lost health to inflict equal damage on an enemy for some magic energy. Sandra also has several other Blue Skills, although nowhere near as many as she does of Healing, Support or normal Attack spells. Aside from Mighty Guard and White Wind, these are mostly cack anyhow. Summoning - Unaware of this power until she both underwent her emotional transformation at Darren's death in TMOG, and then faced and defeated the skeleton jouster Rowdain, Sandra has also learned she can draw upon the delerict spirits of the afterlife, and summon them to attack her enemies with special powers unique to the summoned creature or person in question. Usually the creatures Sandra uses are beings that are fully deceased, Because she met them in the woods and beat their skull in with a mallet. and have offered to bond their spirits to her. These spirits also normally appear in Sandra's Dreamscape[below]. Sandra has been known to force more evil spirits to bind to someone or herself as a form of punishment, akin to her ally Squissy Demon, but she rarely if ever exercises this right on any slain foes, and has only done it once to Anubis for a short period of time, before releasing him to his final fate. I don't know this Anubis fellow he speaks of, but that seems particularly harsh to torture him with possession moments before releasing him to death's embrace. An important note is that any summon spirit that willingly bonds themself to Sandra or another person in this manner(such as Gaibon after his death in TMOG) usually forfeits their right to be resurrected at a later time, even through methods like Dragonballs or her own form of resurrection magic. A much crueler game of Pokemon. "So I just sit in the void waiting for some girl to call me out, hoping that she'll pick ME and not one of the billion or so other magical spells or summons she has." Unique - In addition, Sandra possesses various other unique spells, such as Maisei(translated literally as "Disquise"), "Diskwise?" Does it let her finally solve the mystery of the enigmatic Abort/Retry/Fail option? allowing her to change her appearance to another female form to blend in, or spells allowing her to affect the elemental effectiveness of herself, allies or enemies in battle, or even temporarily bestow various elemental properties on weapons or such. Her unique abilities are the most plentiful of all her various categories of magic. [edit] Other Superhuman Powers Horrendous Physical Strength - Despite appearing slender and dainty to her allies and enemies, Sandra possesses monsterous levels of physical fighting strength, able to punch with the force of over 6.714 septillion tons(or 502.94 yottatonnes [502.94 Yt]) at the most currently-thought-of point in WOTO, easily surpassing about any other known superhero in physical strength. She has been seen at one point curling ~251.47 septillion tons on each arm with little signs of stress of fatigue. There has not yet really been any kind of weight she has NOT been able to lift in any story, so we may never know the true limits, if any, of her physical strength. Many witnesses think or state she literally has "infinite strength rivaling or even equal to God himself", although it is probably an exaggeration. Walker also states that Sandra literally gains more and more strength gradually over time, even when she is not actually training, although she will not gain as much when she is standing around idle either. She LITERALLY gets stronger by the second when she's not even doing anything. Oh wow. I was going to compare it to using a Gameshark to become a god within seconds of beginning a game, but even that requires at least SOME effort on your part. Leg Power - In connection to her monsterous physical strength, Sandra has the ability to kick into enemies and objects alike with forces over 1 octillion tons of power at her best, easilly damaging about any known alloy, including alloys like Cachin and Adamantium, even denting solid layers of Trillcillium, Malcillium, and their combined element of Thrallcillium alloy(although she is still unable to actually destory any of these 3 alloys, she can still alter their shape with her strength). Almost had a grip on a decent weakness for our heroine, but nope! We simply can't have that. As I soapboxed about last time, when a character has literally no weaknesses and can plow through anything in their path without effort, it's boring. That's why Superman stories have kryptonite and One Piece has Seastone - things that can pose threats to even the nigh-invulnerable Superman and devil fruit users, respectively. Her leg strength also is unique in the fact that she can jump up several hundred miles into the air, and she even over time has learned how to air-jump, allowing her to vault up along the air mid-jump in small or large leaps if she intends to keep off the ground, and this makes a type of subsitiute for not using flight powers often, if at all. Come on down to where I can reach you with THREE jumps and I'll teach ya' for rippin me off, chucklenuts! These air-leaps can also guide her around decently in low or high gravity areas. With the right precision, she is capable of also creating earthquakes at 20.0+ on the Ricther Scale by stomping her feet, enough power to literally cause internal damage to the planet she is on if she overfocuses her strength into one point, possibly even enough to break a planet to pieces if she is not careful. Being able to PUNCH a planet into space dust wasn't enough, I suppose. Arm Power - As mentioned above, Sandra has punched into objects and enemies alike with forces over 502.94 septillion tons of power at her best, easilly damaging about any known alloy, including alloys like Cachin and Adamantium, even severely denting solid and 3-foot layers of Trillcillium, Malcillium, and their combined element of Thrallcillium alloy(although she is still unable to actually destory any of these 3 alloys, she can still alter their shape with her strength). Just like with her leg power, she can smash the ground with her fists and create earthquakes on a scale of 18.6+ on the Ricther scale, enough to obilterate continents the size of Russia with a single hit alone. She can also swing her arms in an arc and create powerful shockwaves that can actually pass through enemies on long lines, damaging them or throwing them backwards. This seems just a wee bit redundant. Partial-Immortality - Believed to be granted inadvertantly through her bond with Paula, Sandra gained the power of partial immortality at the same time as her twin when Paula was killed in an early story in WOTO, and then later resurrected, and accidentally given partial immortality, causing the effect to transfer to Sandra through their bond. This form of immortality prevents either twin from aging, prevents them from attaining terminal velocity during a fall[the manner of how Paula died originally], and allows that they can no longer age past a certain point, and they can literally live forever, unless struck down through an act of violence, or diesases like Caranovas. Add Highlander to the list too, I suppose. And the Wonder Twins. Psychic Resistance - Whereas her sister Paula holds a partial degree of Magical resistance, Sandra in return holds an equal level of Psychic resistance, primarily against PK and other various methods of psychic attacks. Also, due to her own inherited(although not as developed) psychic powers, Ironic considering she has almost every PSI power from EarthBound listed on this very bio. she is very resistant to mental manipulation from her enemies, and even from Paula herself, able to sometimes even reverse the attack back on the user(although this doesn't work on Paula due to their bond if it had to be done). Another Deus ex Machina waiting to happen. Omnisonic Speed of Movement - In most of Walker's stories, both Sandra and Paula possess an ever-developing ability of speed, able to easily breach lightspeeds in middle WOTO and beyond, and they have learned over time the ability to bend the aether around them to the point that they can actually use their full speeds in the atmosphere of a planet without ripping through subspace and time on accident. They are stated to move several quintillion MPH at this point in WOTO, over 170 quintillion in space or in no gravity areas. Mastery of lightspeed travel even though we're most likely decades, if not centuries, from discovering it ourselves? Check. Inner Soul Drawn Magic - Most magi and other users of arcane energies often find they need to become atuned to the environment or even the very planet they stand on to use their magic properly, or even at all. Sometimes instabilities or other anomolies on the planet in question can render their ability to use magic useless for a set time, or even permenantly on that world. However Sandra has the unique power that she does not have to draw off the actual environment, but instead can draw off the inner emotions and her own soul's energy to create the magic she uses. This is extremely helpful in situations where an enemy might try to imbalance the furies of a planet to prevent spell-casters from attacking with magic, since this ability renders her unaffected by such attempts. Only if an enemy can lock most of her soul energy out, which is about impossible to do to any creature in general, will they be able to prevent her from using magic. Another perfect opportunity for a viable character weakness, RUINED! Cunning and Strategy - Despite the fact many call her powers already overwhelming, Sandra doesn't fall back on pure strength and power alone and rushing into battle on a whim, having become adapted to forming ingenious strategies, even against enemies that appear to be weak, in the worry their deceptive nature would get her or someone else killed. Well at least it's better thought out than that crappy fanfic I read where Seymour - a MAGE character - tries to wrestle his opponents into submission. Can we read that instead? It sounds a lot more entertaining than this. Nope. But if you want to read it afterward, it's on my website. Sandra is also somewhat paranoid of being watched by enemies from behind the scenes, and has the tendacy to be very careful when it comes to fighting with any reasonable amount of strength in a major battle, always trying to use just the right amount of power for the situation, or a combination of several weaker moves in succession to confuse enemy observers. She also takes pride in the fact she often manages to trick future enemies who think they know all of her moves, by pulling out new moves, or stronger powers, taking them off guard, usually the deciding factor of some of her battles, but even so with the everlasting worry that even more foes might be watching the battle still from afar, thus most viewers and readers are left in wonder of what she could truly do if she had to go all out with every bit of her true powers. Outright FLAUNTING the fact that she's a living Deus ex Machina. The Dreamscape - Sandra's own psychic powers are also able to allow her to enter a form of dream world when she sleeps, in many ways similar to the concept of Magicant in Earthbound, except that Sandra's "Dreamscape" is not as much a physical looking world is it as a type of void. Indicative of the lack of imagination employed in her creation, perhaps? SYMBOLISM! In her Dreamscape, Sandra's mind is at greater rest, to the point she can actually speak to the spirits of the dead with relative ease, even beyond the living planes. This allows her to talk to the many summon spirits she has met and befriended in her journies, and also even talk to spirits like Darren and Sarah's ghosts. Also, due to the summons' ability to navigate most of the afterlife at will, they can gather information by looking down on the world of the living in places Sandra is unaware of, or isn't focused on, and use the Dreamscape to warn her of impending threats coming at either her, or something else important to her or her allies. The spiritual equivalent of disabling the spoiler tags. To an extent, Paula and Sandra cna merge their Dreamscapes if both are sleeping at the same time, increase the accuracy of their bond during rest periods. Willpower/Endurance - Sandra has also shown an extreme level of willpower in the rare situations she is outpowered in some manner or another by one of her enemies. One example is taking 3 consectutive hits of the Ultima spell, and only being knocked unconscious for 5 minutes when fighting Sardius Ultimus in TMOG, when in normal circumstances she should only barely survive one Ultima hit. She's set as "essential" in the Oblivion engine. Anything that would normally kill her just knocks her down for a few seconds. Another example of this is the fact that she can actually negate someone's ability to will herself or someone else out of existance entirely, having been targetted at least twice by an enemy of some kind with the ability to do such. I find that if a godlike entity wants you specificaly to not exist while leaving some of the biggest bastards in history alive and well, there's probably a very good reason for it. She automatically senses the attempt of the enemy attempting to will someone or herself away before they can do so, and sends a signal that destroys the aetherial wavelengths that cause such to occur. Some amount this to her having 'infinite willpower', while others believe from this that Sandra could potentially become a "Godkiller" if she were to ever go evil, and this has scared some people to extreme lengths, even a few of her own allies. But being derived from Final Fantasy and JRPGs in general, gods are always bloodthirsty, megalomaniacal and bent on humanity's destruction for no real reason, so it always works out in the end. Gallon also believes this is part of the powers of the "Green Prodigy" as he has called her once or twice at various points in TMOG and WOTO. Bond with Paula - Sandra and her twin sister Paula share a powerful, nigh-imbreakable bond that links their minds together to an extent as long as they are on the same planet, or at later points in WOTO and The Misfits, even in the same galaxy. This bond is natural, formed from their date of birth, and cannot be interrupted by attempts to disrupt their psychic or arcanial concentration. The bond still allows them to communicate even while either or both twins are unconscious, unable to physically act. It is unknown if they can communicate between the living world and the afterlife, although it doesn't appear possible. However, one major backlash can occur if one twin dies, like when Paula died in early WOTO for a short time. Sandra fell into a near-catatonic state, about to the point of being suidicial when Paula died, and also grew very weak in will, and not as eagar to fight, appearing to even fall sick. A legitimate character weakness at last? ...No, wait, we've already seen she can resurrect people at will. Sorry, false alarm. It is revealance of this same bond that Sandra comes to the decision that she does not want ascend to a higher plane for 6 months when offered by Oma Desala, unless Paula decided to go with her at the same time, which Paula agreed to, thus they both effectively 'died' for 6 months to learn more about the past and possibly their past lives as Misfits during which. During which I abruptly end my sentence and move on to the next heading. Immune System - Sandra's exposure to Caranovas as a baby, while rendering her unable to reproduce, has augumented her immune sustems to a point where she is either immune to or highly resistant to major Earth and other world-born diseases, particular the more normally incurable varieties. She has only truly reacted to a pure dose of Caranovas that had been slipped into her food, which while it almost killed her, she was still able to outlast it, despite ascending later after a near-death experience attributed to her subconscious dellusions ifflicted by the diesase. She is stated to have immunity to all other forms of terminal illnesses, including Parkison's Disease, HIV/AIDS, and even the plagues that destroyed many of the Alterans in the past. The Corprus Effect. Become infected with this horrible disease and somehow you become immune to EVERY disease! [edit] Strengths Physical Strength - [see "Horrendous Physical Strength" above] Immense Magical Powers - [see "Magical Powers" above] Omnisonic Speed - [see "Omnisonic Speed of Movement" above] Immunity to Holy-Elemental Attacks - Sandra's pure-heart allows her the unique power to not only fully resist the effects of holy magic and holy energy, but also allows her to absorb the powers into herself and heal with it, hypercharging her already existing strength further. She is additionally immune to the effects of wind-elemental magic, although she cannot actually absorb it to heal herself, at least not without the use of some form of Wind-absorbing armor or accessory. This guy really can't decide if he's writing a fictional universe or a video game, can he? [edit] Weaknesses Defensive Structre - Sandra's body is not built extremely muscular in stature, and despite still having monsterous physical strength while attacking and lifting weight, Sandra's skin and body do not have a equal amount of physical defense, and she can be damaged easily various types of attacks, especially impacting and crushing hits, which are more ignored by the natural armor in her outfit than any other form of attack aside from neutral-elemental energy. If she is caught totally off guard, and unable to use Tone to Last in time to block a physical hit, a strong blow can send her flying several yards, and knock the wind out of her for a time. Battle Luck - Despite all of her upsides in battles, an additional weakness[although not considered by many has a weakness, just a side-effect], is that Sandra almost never gets abnormally lucky in common battles, and her luck is low in the sense she usually gets hit by random-effect attacks as common as the average human. However a strange oddity is in the fact Sandra seems to get lucky at critical moments in the most dire of battles, such as against Sardius Ultimus. Luck only favors you when you desperately need it? I wish I had that advantage in any game I ever played. As is I always get lucky hits against some mook monster and the boss I'm fighting one-shots my entire party with his lucky critical hit. Weaker to Shadow-Elemental Attacks - The same pure-heart which renders Sandra immune and absorbant to Holy energy also renders her moderately weaker to Evil elemental energy as well, so without the protection of her Black Outfit, she takes extra damage from Dark attacks than from any other type of attack. Hey, a legitimate weakness at last! Good job! It would be more effective if she didn't already have an item that makes her resistant to it, but color me impressed nonetheless. And now for something completely different: An onslaught of blank headings that, while not providing us much to read here, give us a lot to dread if we ever decide to actually follow through with reading this crap. However at this point, Walker had shed most if not all of his "Tengu Man" persona, and had a much more mature mindset and less Paula-oriented writing style. Relatively speaking, of course. Now he was obsessed with a character who looks like a recolor of her and has all of her powers and all the powers of every other character in existence too, only better! He wanted to prove this by focusing more efforts on non-EarthBound characters, but not completely forgetting about the EB characters either though, and he decided it was time to see what Sandra was capable of, and entered her into the story. Frozen appearantly was extremely popular for a good time, despite appearantly being the second reincarnation of a much older version, with a only slightly related story to the first Frozen and the incarnation prior. It was through this story, that Jack Walker met fellow writer Ian Burton, who still goes by the alias of Zero X. Diamond to this day. A fact which he apparently regrets deeply. Burton entered his own new character to the scene, a strange, seemingly sanity-challenged boy of the same age of Sandra, known at first as "Happy Bob, the Homicidal Maniac", although we now know his original name is "Robert Mitchell Reginald the 2nd". A small, seemingly insigificant relationship began to form between Sandra and Bob in Frozen, an unplanned move made by Burton. He didn't know what he was getting himself into when he took a step into the fan fiction community - complete and total desecration of every character and franchise involved. A later AOL Instant Messenger conversation between Walker and Burton about the puppy love Bob had was what eventually led to their partnership, and Walker co-webmaster involvement with ZXDWare.net, so it is in essence that Sandra and Bob helped the two authors form their partnership in the site, which has lead to good things as of recently. Which is why the site's simply read 'Server Default Page' since late 2006. Frozen is also what inspired Walker to start creating Sandra's bio, and backstory in depth, a process that Walker had since before neglected for Sandra in much detail. This upgrade in detail to Sandra is still in progress to this very day. Up until mid 2010, at least, when the whole thing just fell completely off the map. However, despite uniting Walker and Burton, the story of Frozen has become in a sense 'Frozen', interest in it had been lost in early 2004, as many of the original authors had lost interest, and Burton and Walker had been focused much on other projects to give too many boosts themselves. In this, Jenkins, Burton, Gauthier and Walker agreed to save the current incarnation of the story right up to it's last post, and archive it on ZXDWare.net, hopefully to be revived from hiatus and finished in the future. Frozen in it's currently in-hiatus form, still in forum post format [edit] Create-a-Character Contest #2 In the late summer and early fall of 2004, a GameFAQs member known as Grant "Futuresuperstar" Gordin Oh goodie. GameFAQs. The home of arrogant, lonely geeks who weren't good enough for 4chan. That's a little harsh. I stand by it. had started the second of a series of contests in which people on the site would submit created characters and compete them in a contest again each other. The contest had 32 total characters, and Walker entered Sandra into this contest as one of them. In what seemed to be luck, And heavy ballot box stuffing via the use of sockpuppet accounts. according to Walker, Sandra was able to barely win the tournament, over fellow contestant Mauve Snake, created by Gordin himself as a competitor, and moderately heavy favorite, by a total of 50 to 48 votes in the final round. Sandra also faced a close match with Lyral Covington in the first round, although her other matches from then on to the finals were not as close in comparison, even defeating the heavily favored Daniel M. Starbright by a total of 15 to 9. Completed bracket for the CAC2 A broken link! [edit] "The Green Child/Prodigy" Some authors and readers that know Walker or have been introduced to Sandra have expressed a degree of confusion of Sandra's author-designated title of "The Green Child", stating they see nothing green about Sandra in any way. Walker says that the term of "The Green Child", now interchangbly called "The Green Prodigy" isn't a reference to the current appearance of Sandra, but he says it is a reference to a hidden meaning from within her, something that she herself doesn't yet understand. The mysterious (read: extremely boring) character with a mysterious (read: extremely boring) hidden power. Always a wonderful writing convention! In many parts of Walker's stories, Sandra is called "The Green Child" or "The Green Prodigy" by various characters she befriends around the many stories, the first of many being Gallon her Time and Space magic teacher, the very same who bestowed her the outfit and gloves that are her staple wardrobe in almost all stories and universes she is in. I'm reminded a bit of the Will of D from One Piece, except this probably won't lead to anything I actually want to read about. Sandra cannot understand why people she doesn't seem to know at first suddenly come out and call her these titles. She even tries to ask the people in question why they call her such a title, and none of them ever seem to really be willing to reveal the answer. Gallon in one part makes a reference to himself in private that the title she holds by name of others is supposed to represent her destiny to accquire the great strength and necessary power to save all that is beyond merely their own universe. Oh! The power of Green is the power of Deus ex Machina! Sometimes, he refers to a state of being that was at one time referred to as "The Green Vein", although the name is now changed to something completely different. Also, Walker's bio on Sandra doesn't state any description on what this power is supposed to be, and that only one other unnamed being has ever come close, and that the person who did prior died in his attempt to reach the level of power. Other possible hints of 'Green' related titles seem to steam from Sandra's ability to destroy powerful time-based creatures known as "Time Reapers", which were stated by The Ninth Doctor to be completely impervious to all things in the universe. Appearantly upon witnessing her destroy one of the time Reapers, The Doctor believes she possesses what he calls "The Green Aspect", an assocation which appearantly includes the ability to destroy creatures that exist outside the normal span of time, like Time Reapers, which even Time Lords struggled to battle they were still alive. I think we missed a word in that sentence. How can you operate "outside of time"? I never got that. I mean, if you don't exist within the flow of time, doesn't that mean that you would just be in one state at all times, never able to move, or take any kind of action, or even think? hell, you wouldn't even really be "alive" or "dead" if you think about it. you couldn't age or have organ failure or a "loss" of brain activity if there's nothing to gauge it against, being that a world without time would exist in only one sta-- bla bla bla it's all pseudo-sciency bullcrap. let's just move on or we'll be here all day. As of now, it is impossible to truly define the meaning of Sandra's non-self-named titles, and why random people she meets seem to call her by it out of nowhere. Perhaps one day this great mystery will finally reel itself into the light... You just told us, in no uncertain terms, exactly what it is. [edit] Sandra's Individual Abilities [edit] Physical Skills/Fighting Styles Ninjitsu - A collection of techniques originally practiced for espionage purposes. It includes methods of gathering information, non-detection, avoidance, and misdirection techniques. Ninjutsu can also involve training in disguise, escape, concealment, archery, medicine, and explosives. As well as generating lightning, destroying tanks with your bare hands, running on water, surfing at over 250 miles per hour across calm seas, commanding animals, and defying gravity for minutes at a time. Sandra studied various aspects of this style after her return to Earth, realizing long in her past that charging in hard and straight in battle doesn't always work, and a slower, but more sneaky method, may be required to handle threats that are a large scale. Until a boss fight breaks out, at which point you can be as noisy as you like and the sentries throughout the building will not take notice in the slightest. This is also the basis style to which Sandra developed her 'Maisei' spell, which literally allows her to change her appearance(within some degree of error in various physical properties), her personal energy auras, and allows her to blend in as a more "normal person". Sandra also has the necessary speed to apply many strong forms of Ninjitsu. ANU MUTSUBE! Zui Quan - A traditional Chinese martial art. It is a northern style of wushu that imitates a drunkard in its movements. The postures are created by momentum and weight of the body, and imitation is generally through staggering and certain type of fluidity in the movements. It is considered to be among the harder wushu styles due to the need for powerful joints and fingers. Someone's been browsing the Jackie Chan filmography. The secret behind Drunken style kung fu is the sudden release of power from awkward positions. The agile footwork enables the exponent to totter, sway and fall without harm, confusing their opponent, rising up on the tips of their toes then dropping to low, crouched positions. Some users of the art actually make themselves intoxicated as a way of "powering up" the style in a battle. Umm... yeah. That only works in the movies. Being that this is a very difficult form of kung-fu to master and involves putting yourself into a lot of awkward physical positions, attempting to do it while actually drunk would probably just result in you hurting yourself. Sandra decided to learn this ability out of a need of a method of catching her enemies off guard by forcing them into more unorthodox positions themselves. She also likes to use it as a form of kata at various times on her own. Despite the origin of this style, Sandra has never gotten drunk in order to use the style at 'full power'. Iron Palm - A form of numerous techniques developed within martial arts. These techniques are typically meant to condition the hands to allow a practitioner to throw very powerful blows without injury to his/her body. Iron palm is not a specific term as there are many different ways of achieving these results. Adamantium bonding process being a very unpopular one. Consequently, many martial arts families teach a system of iron palm, and many disagree with each other as to whose system is best. Furthermore, many teachers treat their specific iron palm system as a closely guarded family secret so it can be difficult to acquire specific information about system without agreeing to not share that information freely. In any case, iron palm development occurs in two parts. The first is to strengthen the hand. This can be achieved by repeatedly striking hard objects, breaking the bones in the hands so they heal back thicker. Ow. The second part is to learn how to strike with more power. In other words, hard hands are not enough, one must be able to apply that hardness with power and intent. Iron palm development can be truly substantial. Many common-level Iron palm practitioners can break stacks of boards and bricks. And anvils, ruby and diamond if you play 2-player mode. Combined with a knowledge of vulnerable spots on the human body, a well developed Iron palm practitioner is easily a lethal opponent. Although it is hard to tell from simply surveying her in action, Sandra has at a couple points in her life mention of the study and practice of Iron Palm-conditioning. Which is ironic because, as we've already seen, this is an Earth-specific martial art and she lives on planet Santana or whatever. I guess she only lives there every now and then. Iron Shirt - A form of Kung fu exercise also known in Wing Chun as Golden Bell. Some martial arts like Combat Ki are based on the idea that a correctly trained body can withstand more damage than one that is untrained. Iron Shirt is a series of exercises using many stances, herbs, meditation, and body movements to cause the body's natural energy (Chi/Ki) to reinforce its structural strength. In the Shaolin version of Iron Shirt, the practitioner would do things such as laying on a stump or supporting tablets of granite on the chest with the goal of toughening the body. So that they might work their way up to being run over by several trucks on televised events. Practitioners believe that Ki flowing through the organs can reinforce these parts of the body to take blows against them. This should not be mistaken for Seneca body hardening techniques: whereas Iron Shirt theoretically can allow the practitioner to take a spear to the chest and break the spear, Seneca techniques were more for taking club blows. Practitioners of Combat Ki claim they are able to take full blows to sensitive areas like the genitals or throat without suffering major damage from otherwise severely debilitating or even fatal blows. It's not so much used for self defense as for showing off, I find. For Dog Kung Fu, this discipline was used primarily for preventing the chest and arms from breaking when locking on the holds. These were built up differently with other exercises, but still use the same fundamental breathing patterns and stance work as Iron Body. Snake Kung Fu - There are several Chinese martial arts known as Snake Boxing or Snake Style which imitate the movements of snakes. SOLID snakes. Proponents claim that adopting the fluidity of snakes allows them to entwine with their opponents in defense and strike them from angles they wouldn't expect in offense. Snake style is said to especially lend itself to applications with the Chinese straight sword. The sinuous, fluid motion of the snake lends itself to the practical theory that underlies the "soft" martial arts. Different snake styles imitate different movements of snakes. Some, for example, imitate the Cobra, while others imitate the python, while some schools imitate both for different applications. Objection: Relevance. Dragon Kung Fu - The movements of the Dragon style of Chinese martial arts are based on the mythical Chinese dragon. Yeesh. Are we going to get a lesson on every school of Kung Fu in existence? I thought this was supposed to be a biography. The dragon stylist relies on a variety of fighting techniques that can be employed for a wide range of needs. The style uses techniques that can cripple or kill an opponent if the need arises or it can be used simply to control a minor street fighting situation. If you poke someone in just the right way, it makes their head explode! The Dragon Kung Fu practitioner typically attacks with winding low yang attacks. One signature maneuver is the four finger claw techniques that utilizes the index, thumb, ring and middle fingers, or all five fingers to do hard pinching attacks to the muscles, tendons and acupressure points; and rapid, close in palm attacks. Punching techniques can be closed or open handed. Clawing and grappling techniques, in the imagined style of a dragon, are used. Kicks, no higher than waist level, are used to target sensitive areas such as the groin, knee, and foot. The dirty nad-kicker's style of choice. The waist, the largest and most central of all human muscles, receives great focus in Dragon Style. Efforts are made to strengthen, coordinate, and utilize this muscle to achieve powerful and quick movements. For example, when striking with the fist, more power can be exerted when the movement originates from the waist first, then flowing through the body, and finally into the fist. In both the Northern and Southern Dragon Style systems, leg work is characterized by a zig-zag motion that mimics the imagined movement of the mythical Chinese dragon. In Southern style, smaller strides are emphasized to complement the system's short range combat style. In the Northern system, the strides are greater, utilizing the strength of the legs to move in and out of the opponent's range of attack with speed and force. Tiger Kung Fu - The Tiger is one of the Five Animals of Southern Chinese martial arts. Just in case you didn't see the previous two headings. The purpose of imitating the tiger is to develop the very yang qualities of fearlessness and aggression when faced with an opponent. The tiger attacks in a straight line and rarely retreats, the tiger style relies on external "jing" or mechanical and kinetic force generated through the shifting of weight and rotation of the waist rather than the internal qi from arts like tai chi and hsing. Most of its strikes are clubbing and claw strikes. The focus of this style is in the hand posture, the "Tiger Claw", in which the wrist is drawn back, the firgers spread as wide as possible and the fingertips held forward to deliver a blow while grasping and twisting. When delivered successfully, all five fingers should drive forcefully into the opponent with the strength of a tiger's claw. He's not even "writing a biography" anymore so much as "transcribing from this cool book I found at the library". Dog Kung Fu - A martial arts style from China. This is a southern style of Chinese boxing that specializes in takedowns and ground fighting. Often favored by women, the fighter typically assumes a stance that requires that both hands and feet be on the ground, resembling a dog. I'm no expert on kung fu, but I'm pretty sure that's not right. "I think he's confusing kung fu movies with hentai movies. He's never had a relationship with a real girl so I'd imagine it's an easy mistake to make." This form of martial arts also teaches Iron Shirt, and Iron Palm fighting methods, as well as specialized leaping techniques. It is mainly practiced in Fujian Province. Praying Mantis (Northern) - A style of Chinese martial arts, sometimes called Shandong Praying Mantis after its province of origin. The mantis is a long and narrow predatory insect. Further derailment. While heavily armoured, it is not built to withstand forces from perpendicular directions. Consequently, its fighting style involves makes use of whip-like/circular motions to deflect direct attacks, which it follows up with precise attacks to the opponent's vital spots. These traits have been subsumed into the Northern Praying Mantis style, under the rubric of "removing something" (blocking to create a gap) and "adding something" (rapid attack). One of the most distinctive features of Northern Praying Mantis is the "praying mantis hook", a hook made of one to three fingers directing force in a whip-like manner. The hook may be used to divert force (blocking) or to attack critical spots (eyes, face, That point you press to make their head explode as soon as they take a single step, accupuncture points). These are particularly useful in combination, for example using the force imparted from a block to power an attack. So if the enemy punches with the right hand, a Northern Praying Mantis practitioner might hook outwards with the left hand (shifting the body to the left) and use the turning force to attack the enemy's neck with a right hook. Alternately, she might divert downwards with the left hook and rebound with the left wrist stump to jaw/nose/throat. Swapping tenses in mid-paragraph. Northern Praying Mantis is especially famous for its speed and continuous attacks. Another prominent feature of the style is its complex footwork, borrowed from Monkey Kung Fu. Praying Mantis (Southern) - How many of these can there possibly be? Damn. Is all of this really even necessary in a game universe where the heroine's only confirmable fighting style is "hitting things with a frying pan until they fall down"? Despite its name, the Southern Praying Mantis style of Chinese martial arts is unrelated to the Northern Praying Mantis style. Southern Praying Mantis is instead related most closely to fellow Hakka styles such as Dragon and more distantly to the Fujian family of styles that includes Fujian White Crane, Five Ancestors, and Wing Chun. A style I can get behind. The only goal is that everybody has fun tonight. Southern Praying Mantis is a close range fighting system that places much emphasis on short power techniques and has aspects of both the soft and internal as well as the hard and external. You know what else is hard and external? My ass! As in other southern styles, the arms are the main weapon, with kicks usually limited to the hip and under. Emphasis is placed on strengthening and lengthening the arms. When an extended arm has strength, it allows the practitioner to move about faster since his arms don't need to recoil or move back for more strength, like in boxing or many other fighting systems Monkey Kung Fu - At this point, you should just file all of her powers under "God Hand". She's already got the superhuman strength and moves of every martial art style ever created, now just add in some cartoon physics, telekinetic baseball bats and Buddha's Palm Shaolin Strikes. A Chinese martial art where the movements imitate monkeys or apes in fighting. This style includes many difficult acrobatic movements and techniques executed while tumbling along the ground or prone. Monkey has terrific defense, and is considered by many to have the best defense of any shaolin kung fu style. The staff features prominently in its weapons training. The method uses agile, jerky movements that are both confusing and fun to watch. A famous version of monkey style is the Drunken Monkey; it's exactly what it sounds like, the practitioner acts like an intoxicated monkey. Also popular at redneck bars. It is also said that Monkey is the style best suited to fight snake style kung fu, and eagle claw is the best suited to defeat monkey, but this is more legend then truth. Rock paper scissors shotgun lizard spock has no basis in reality! There are six variations of monkey kung fu: And I'm going to go into every one in excruciating detail. Drunken Monkey Kung Fu style uses a lot of throat, eye and groin strikes as well as tumbling and falling techniques. It incorporates a lot of false steps to give the appearance it is defenseless and uses a lot of off balance strikes. Stone Monkey Kung Fu style is a "physical" style. The practitioner trains up his body to exchange blows with the opponent - Stone Monkey uses the monkey's Iron body method. It will leave an area exposed on its body for you to attack, so it can attack a more vital spot on your body. Lost Monkey Kung Fu style feigns a lot. He gives the appearance of being lost and confused to deceive the opponent into underestimating his abilities, "He"? and he retaliates when least expected. The hands and footwork change and flow from each other at will. Standing or Tall Monkey Kung Fu style is a relatively conventional monkey that likes to keep an upright position and avoid tumbling around. This style is more suited for tall people. Or Dhalsim. Tall monkey likes to climb body limbs to make attacks at pressure points. It is a long range style. Crafty Monkey is very deceptive, it uses different faked emotions to lure its opponent into attacking. By pretending to be scared for example it lulls the opponent into a false sense of security and waits for the opponents guard to be down, then suddenly attacks when not expected. And then their opponent is beaten to death with a flaming baseball bat. Wooden Monkey Kung Fu style is a serious, angry monkey that attacks and defends with ferocity. The attitude of this monkey is more serious, and its movements are noticeably less light than the other monkeys. Wood monkey likes to grapple and bring its opponent to the ground. Once it brings you to the ground, you're helpless. Are we still talking about martial arts styles here? It's getting harder to tell. Eagle Claw - One of the oldest and most complex of the surviving Northern Shaolin kung fu systems. Along with the long strikes and kicks that typify Northern systems, the Eagle Claw system is distinguished by its powerful gripping techniques and intricate system of locks, takedowns, and pressure point strikes, which represent one of the oldest forms of the Chinese grappling known as Chin Na. The Eagle Claw system is taught differently by different teachers and different branches. Because Eagle Claw was primarily taught through the Ching Mo Association, training generally includes a number of standard northern kung fu forms and techniques taught to all practitioners at the Association, alongside the elements specific to the Eagle Claw system. The system includes fist forms, weapon forms, partner sets, and the 108 locking hand techniques. The range of traditional Chinese weapons are covered, including the long staff, spear, double pointed spear, kwan do (or halberd), saber, sword, hooked swords, three-section staff, daggers, fan, short stick, and chain or whip. And the rope dart, the harpoon, the retractable arm-blade and the giant sledgehammer that the super-cheap final boss uses. Structured classes begin with group stretching and exercises, then move to forms practice. Eagle Claw practitioners also need basic practice in gymnastics to be able to perform the rolls, flips, and jumping kicks of the system. Sparring is also an essential part of both the training and the testing process. Because the dramatic acrobatics and precise footwork of Eagle Claw depend highly upon the flexibility of the student, it is said that the ideal age to begin training is in childhood or adolescence. Starting early also gives the student a greater chance of learning the system in its entirety, since the range of techniques it encompasses is vast. Well that explains why a five year old knows it. [edit] Psychic Skills Mystical Bond with Paula - (See "Bond With Paula" above) Mystical Bond with Family - In the same manner as she and Paula have a bond with each other, they also have a mental bond to their parents, and at times, their older brother Derrick, which works in a similar manner. Derrick, middle name "Oil". Telepathy - The ability to speak to others via mind waves. Ailment Sight - Sandra can see the effects on magic on sentient things that others can't. She can see many auras that represent status ailments and enchantments, such as Slow, Stop, Haste, Expand, Compress, and later on, she can also sense bad ailments such as Poison, Curse, etc. RPG Hero Vision, instantly diagnose any illness! Shinkeiheisa (Nerve Shutdown) - This particular ability is a very unique one in that it allows Sandra to use her mind to 'shut off' her nerves for as long as she has PK energy to burn. This makes it that she cannot feel pain or exhaustion from attacks, however she can still feel some hunger and dehydration if she is extremely in need of food or water. Luffy powers. Also, Sandra cannot as easily keep track of her health when she is using this, since she cannot feel how much damage she has taken. Each time she is hit for any noticeable damage, her PK energy slightly decreases. If her PK energy runs out, or she decides it, her nerve reception will turn back on. This can also be very devastating if she has taken heavy damage prior to turning her nerves back on, as the sudden rush of pain can temporarily cripple her body's functions until she heals herself. This ability was learned during the Demon's Crest conflict before Sandra returned to Earth in WOTO. Telesynthesis - A very advanced psychic ability which allows to user to shift his/her view to look out of the eyes of a target to see what they are looking at. Beastmaster powers. This skill allows Sandra to keep a bead on people she can sense, friend or foe alike. There is a disadvantage: Sandra cannot see out of her own eyes while she is using this, and she must be able to keep focus on the person at all times. If she loses sense on a person, her vision will return to normal. This ability was learned during the Demon's Crest Conflict as well. This ability has a steady drain on Sandra's PK Reserve, so she cannot use it infinitely without periods of rest. Or a handful of PSI Caramels. Freespace - A spin off of Telesynthesis A 4-X game I've never heard of. I'm pretty sure it was a spin off of Descent. , Freespace allows the user to close his/her eyes and think to create an undetectable and intangible ball of psychic matter that can be used in a similar form to telesynthesis. The ball can be freely moved via mental control, allowing the user to look at places he/she has or has never been to before through the matter ball they are using, without being seen by possible enemies or other suspicious entities. As opposed to Telesythesis, this has next-to-no drain on Sandra's PK Reserve, since she is not looking through the eyes of a living entity, but simply a ball of matter made by her own mind, so she can use Freespace for a very long time at once. I thought only villains had the power to create an all-seeing eye anywhere they might need it. Save for the location of the hero's secret base, of course. Makes you wonder why they never check the one place their spy cameras don't seem to pick up. [edit] Magic Skills [edit] Probably the backbone of Sandra's powers and skills, although not the entirity. She has learned in the course of her 24-25 year life upwards of over 830 different abilities, which are divided into a diverse number of categories as listed below. Not only a Mary Sue of incredible caliber, but he's taken the time to document each and every one of her skills? We're entering dangerously obsessive territory here, friends. [edit] White Magic [edit] White Magic is mostly considered as 'Healing', 'Ailment-Healing' and 'Holy-Elemental' abilities, mostly in the classic Final Fantasy tradition of the same magic class. Oh no, a Final Fantasy fanboy. All imagination has just died. Prepare for pages and pages and pages and pages of spell descriptions copied straight from the games. Which makes little sense considering we're writing about a character who stars in a FAN FICTION and DOOM and DUKE NUKEM 3D MODS based on said fan fiction. Heifukunaosu (Health Cure) - Sandra restores some of either her own, or another target's Hit Points(HP/Health Reserve). This ability can be spread out among a set # of targets, but in both forms will not heal as much as it would directed at one person. FOCUSED: This ability restores a larger amount of HP, and even a minor amount of PP(Psychic Points), KI(Ki Energy) and SP(Sugemo Points) to the target. "Sugemo" points? It can be spread out among a set # of targets, but like the normal version, it will not heal as much as it would directed at one person. Heifukunaosura (Health Cure 2) - Sandra restores more of either her own, or another target's Hit Points(HP/Health Reserve). This ability can be spread out among a set # of targets, but in both forms will not heal as much as it would directed at one person. FOCUSED: This ability restores a larger amount of HP, and even some amount of PP(Psychic Points), KI(Ki Energy) and SP(Sugemo Points) to the target. It can be spread out among a set # of targets, but like the normal version, it will not heal as much as it would directed at one person. Heifukunaosuga (Health Cure 3) - Sandra restores even more of either her own, or another target's Hit Points(HP/Health Reserve). TThis ability can be spread out among a set # of targets, but in both forms will not heal as much as it would directed at one person. FOCUSED: Focused, this ability restores a larger amount of HP, and even a decent amount of PP(Psychic Points), KI(Ki Energy) and SP(Sugemo Points) to the target. It can be spread out among a set # of targets, but like the normal version, it will not heal as much as it would directed at one person. Okay, now you're just cutting and pasting the same thing and changing a few words. Is this really necessary? Heifukunaosuja (Health Cure 4) - Sandra heals either herself, or a target creature's HP by 100%. It works in the same way a Megahealth/Soulsphere works, and can bring the HP of the target beyond their normal maximums, as high as 200%, but the HP will slowly leak away until it is back at the normal maximum. Until friend Heavy stuffs his overhealed boot up your arse for plagiarism! YES! FOCUSED: It will increase HP by 400% instead of just 100%, up to a maximum of 1000%. The focused version can be alternatively used to restore a set number of people's HP by 200% each instead of a single person. Heifukunaosuda (Health Cure 5) - Sandra heals either herself, or a target creature's HP by 250%. It works in the same way a Megahealth/Soulsphere works, and can bring the HP of the target beyond their normal maximums, as high as 500%, but the HP will slowly leak away until it is back at the normal maximum. FOCUSED: It will increase HP by 2000% instead of just 250%, up to a maximum of 4000%. The focused version can be alternatively used to restore a set number of people's HP by 1600% each instead of a single person. Any game that allows your health to reach 2000% of its normal maximum is probably being hacked beyond words. Or is exceptionally badly designed. Kourikinaosu (Ki Cure) - Kourikinaosura (Ki Cure 2) - Kourikinaosuga (Ki Cure 3) - Kourikinaosuja (Ki Cure 4) - Kourikinaosuda (Ki Cure 5) - Seishintekinaosu (PK Cure) - Seishintekinaosura (PK Cure 2) - Seishintekinaosuga (PK Cure 3) - Seishintekinaosuja (PK Cure 4) - Seishintekinaosuda (PK Cure 5) - Jujutsunaosu (Magic Cure) - Jujutsunaosura (Magic Cure 2) - Jujutsunaosuga (Magic Cure 3) - Jujutsunaosuja (Magic Cure 4) - Jujutsunaosuda (Magic Cure 5) - Taiyounaosu (Sugemo Cure) - Taiyounaosura (Sugemo Cure 2) - Taiyounaosuga (Sugemo Cure 3) - Taiyounaosuja (Sugemo Cure 4) - Taiyounaosuda (Sugemo Cure 5) - Oh thank the lord he hasn't filled these in. I didn't want to read eighty more pages of redundancies. But now we'll never know what Sugemo is! It's coffee sweetener. Seishounaosu (Chakra Cure) - Seishounaosura (Chakra Cure 2) - Seishounaosuga (Chakra Cure 3) - Seishounaosuja (Chakra Cure 4) - Seishounaosuda (Chakra Cure 5) - Renkinnaosu (Alchemy Cure) - Renkinnaosura (Alchemy Cure 2) - Renkinnaosuga (Alchemy Cure 3) - Renkinnaosuja (Alchemy Cure 4) - Renkinnaosuda (Alchemy Cure 5) - Senyaku (Panacea Cure 1) - Senyakura (Panacea Cure 2) - Senyakuga (Panacea Cure 3) - Senyakuja (Panacea Cure 4) - Senyakuda (Panacea Cure 5) - Reizu (Life) - Revives one person from unconsciousness/swoon with 25% of their HP. FOCUSED: Restores more HP, and some MP to the target as well. Areizu (Life 2) - Revives one person from unconsciousness/swoon with 100% of their HP. FOCUSED: Restores more MP than a focused Reizu spell. Rereizu (Auto Life) - Places the target(or Sandra herself) into a state where if they are knocked unconscious, that they will automatically revive with 25% of their HP, but will only work once per casting. FOCUSED: Automatic version of a focused Reizu spell. Reareizu (Auto Life 2) - Places the target(or Sandra herself) into a state where if they are knocked unconscious, that they will automatically revive with 100% of their HP, but will only work once per casting. FOCUSED: Automatic version of a focused Areizu spell. Does she also have a Chantage permanently equipped so this effect never vanishes? Tensei (All Life) - Revives all people on one side of the battle from unconsciousness/swoon with 25% of their HP. FOCUSED: Acts the same as a focused Reizu Spell, except for one entire party. Tenseira (All Life 2) - Revives all people on one side of the battle from unconsciousness/swoon with 100% of their HP. FOCUSED: Acts the same as a focused Areizu Spell, except for one entire party. Tenseiga (All Auto Life) - Places all people on one side of the battle with a state where if they are knocked unconscious, automatically revive with 25% of their HP, but will only work once per casting. FOCUSED: Acts the same as a focused Rereizu Spell, except for one entire party. What qualifies a spell as "focused", anyway? Does it cost more MP, take longer to cast, what? I doubt either would make a difference, she already has MP-restoring spells (another bane to all game balance) and probably command over all time magic as well, rendering any and all disadvantages moot. Tenseija (All Auto Life 2) - Places all people on one side of the battle with a state where if they are knocked unconscious, automatically revive with 100% of their HP, but will only work once per casting. FOCUSED: Acts the same as a focused Reareizu Spell, except for one entire party. The "I win button" of this fictional universe. As long as they can keep casting that at the beginning of each turn, you can never defeat their party. Poisona (Heal Poisons/Seizures) - Cures Poison-based status[Poison, Heavy Poison, Plague] for one target. FOCUSED: Additionally cures conditions like "HP Leak", "Seizure", and other HP-declining ailments. Poisonara (Heal All Poisons/Seizures) - Cures Poison-based status[Poison, Heavy Poison, Plague] for all targets. FOCUSED: Additionally cures conditions like "HP Leak", "Seizure", and other HP-declining ailments. Esuna (Remedy) - Cures most negative status ailments for one target, although some are not cured with this. FOCUSED: Cures all types of status ailments, even special types which can only normally be cured by specfic remedies or spells. Esunara (Remedy 2) - Cures most negative status ailments for all targets, although some are not cured with this. FOCUSED: Cures all types of status ailments, even special types which can only normally be cured by specfic remedies or spells. Simply turning her and all her friends to stone isn't an option either, I see. Rijene (Regen) - Creates a continous healing 'portal' within the body of one target[or her own], which restores roughly 10% of their lifeforce every 10-15 seconds. Time-aura spells [Heisuto, Suroura, Stoppu, etc] can also accelerate or slow down the rate of regeneration. FOCUSED: Opens a similar portal within ALL allies bodies' and Sandra's own body, healing 10% of their lifeforce every 5-7.5 seconds. Time-aura spells [Heisuto, Suroura, Stoppu, etc] can also accelerate or slow down the rate of regeneration. Time-aura spells [Heisuto, Suroura, Stoppu, etc] can also accelerate or slow down the rate of regeneration. Forget about even trying to whittle their HP down for the Reraise spell to take effect - they restore their own HP AND MP faster than THEY can possibly deplete it! That must be a fun spell at parties. You can saw your own legs off and poof! They'll grow back right before peoples' eyes, not so much as a scar in sight. We could solve world hunger by applying that same principle to livestock! This attack has a chance of causing 'Soul Burn' to an enemy, which is to mean a lingering buring sensation within the targets' soul causes aftereffect damage, but only if the enemy is more evil than good. FOCUSED: Overall damage against a single target is multiplied by 2.15 times, and dividing the attack among multiple enemies only reduces the damage by 7% overall. This attack has a chance of causing 'Soul Burn' to an enemy, which is to mean a lingering buring sensation within the targets' soul causes aftereffect damage, but only if the enemy is more evil than good. Hourila (Holy 15) - A fifteenth level Holy-elemental spell that can be focused on one single enemy for much stronger maximum damage than Hourifa, or divided among a group for lesser but still substantial damage. This attack has a chance of causing 'Soul Burn' to an enemy, which is to mean a lingering buring sensation within the targets' soul causes aftereffect damage, but only if the enemy is more evil than good. FOCUSED: Overall damage against a single target is multiplied by 2.2 times, and dividing the attack among multiple enemies only reduces the damage by 6% overall. This attack has a chance of causing 'Soul Burn' to an enemy, which is to mean a lingering buring sensation within the targets' soul causes aftereffect damage, but only if the enemy is more evil than good. Houriza (Holy 16) - A sixteenth level Holy-elemental spell that can be focused on one single enemy for much stronger maximum damage than Hourila, or divided among a group for lesser but still substantial damage. This attack has a chance of causing 'Soul Burn' to an enemy, which is to mean a lingering buring sensation within the targets' soul causes aftereffect damage, but only if the enemy is more evil than good. FOCUSED: Overall damage against a single target is multiplied by 2.25 times, and dividing the attack among multiple enemies only reduces the damage by 5% overall. This attack has a chance of causing 'Soul Burn' to an enemy, which is to mean a lingering buring sensation within the targets' soul causes aftereffect damage, but only if the enemy is more evil than good. It's one thing to copy spells from Final Fantasy. It's quite another to copy the same description SIXTEEN TIMES with only minor variations and paste it into a character biography. Funny, this is the only author I know who lifts gameplay concepts from Final Fantasy II, arguably the franchise's first black sheep. And rightfully so, because it was dreadful. It wasn't that bad. Yes, the leveling system was seriously flawed in execution (though thankfully improved substantially in subsequent remakes) and it enforced linearity in the most asinine way possible (by throwing impossibly strong enemies you'd have no chance of conquering everywhere you're not supposed to go yet - and sometimes in places you WERE supposed to go), but it did have an enjoyable storyline with some surprisingly dark elements for a 1988 release. I'd certainly much rather play that than anything else the franchise has spawned in the last decade (aside from the great Final Fantasy XII, of course). Hori Cack (Holy Bomb) - Hori Risepushin (Holy Reception) - Hori Shiagekou (Holy Finisher) - Jeez, MORE holy spells? Isn't 16 enough? Yomigaeru (Temporary Resurrection of the Body) - Shinnoyomigaeru (True Resurrection of the Body and Soul) - The downside of the former spell being that they come back with the soul of a demon that consumes humans by the villageful. Blinda (Heal Blindness) - Blindara (Heal All Blindness) - Silena (Heal Silence/Seals) - Silenara (Heal All Silence/Seals) - Stona (Heal Petification/Diamondization/Paralysis) - Stonara (Heal All Petification/Diamondization/Paralysis) - We already have Esuna and Uber-Esuna, aren't these a bit redundant? [edit] Gray Magic [edit] Gray Magic is generally known as assistance magic. Most of them are meant to supplement or alter an ally or enemy's properties or inflict status ailments. Some are also used for barriers or extra defense. Most forms of Time Magic also seem to fall into this area.' Raibura (Scan) - Raiburga (Scan 2) - Okay, I'll bite. What does Scan 2 do that Scan 1 can't? Lends itself to moments of unintentional comedy, like finding out the Galbanian hockey players you're fighting are genetically engineered mutants created by Garden for bloodsport. And these are supposed to be our HEROES! Konfyu (Confuse) - Suripuru (Sleep) - Seiresu (Mute) - Tataru (Curse) - Kuruma (Lucky) - Baaseku (Berserk) - Useless status effect spells that never work when you need them to. Skip! Megabaaseku(Megaserk) - Megaserk? Wasn't he a Power Rangers villain? Rebiteo (Float) - Burinku (Vanish) - Shimanagashi (Banish) - Rifureku (Reflect) - Chourifureku (Super Reflect) - Reflects all spells forever? Disuperu (Dispel) - Disuperura (All Dispel) - Bouchou (Stat Expansion [Double]) - Bouchoura (All Stat Expansion [Double]) - Asshuku (Stat Compression [Half]) - Huh huh, you said ass. Our heroine can make herself eight times stronger and her enemies 1/8th as strong, resulting in a 64x power differential! Minimum (Tiny) - This spell will reduce the size of its' target down by 90% to 95%, significantly reducing the physical attack and defense of the target. It will also decrase their speed and their powerlevels[if applicable]. This spell will wear off usually after a few minutes of the target is still alive. Kappakasuru (Imp Morph) - Wakadorikasuru (Chicken Morph/Morph Ovum) - Incantation: "COCKADOODLEDOO" Butakasuru (Pig Morph/Porkulator) - Hitsujikasuru (Sheep Morph/Seal of the Ovinomancer) - Protesu (Physical Protection) - The target of this spell will usually be given an extra 33.33~% resistance against all Physical attacks for a few minutes. Simodu (Sugemo Protection) - The target of this spell will usually be given an extra 33.33~% resistance against all Sugemo attacks for a few minutes. Sometimes this spell can be charged up with "Extra Power" to increase the protection rate further. Chikaru (Chakra Protection) - The target of this spell will usually be given an extra 33.33~% resistance against all Chakra attacks for a few minutes. Sometimes this spell can be charged up with "Extra Power" to increase the protection rate further. Rentanu (Alchemy Protection) - The target of this spell will usually be given an extra 33.33~% resistance against all Alchemy attacks for a few minutes. Sometimes this spell can be charged up with "Extra Power" to increase the protection rate further. Blocku (Super Protection) - The target of this spell will usually be given an extra 33.33~% resistance against all Attack Damage for a few minutes. Sometimes this spell can be charged up with "Extra Power" to increase the protection rate further. Why does he keep listing individual spells, then list one uber spell that makes all of the previous ones completely redundant? It's mental! Ketsuro (Escape) - Allows Sandra and her immediate group to leave or escape from underground areas, dungeons, or generally bad situations. This can even be used durng most battles, unless a strong enough opposing magic force blocks the use of the spell. Hizumu (Warp) - Allows Sandra and her immediate group to instantly warp from their current point to a location kept in Sandra's memory. It is possible for her to go somewhere she has never been, but only provided someone else has given her images and memories of such a place prior. Bafusokufuri (Nulnuke) - Protects Sandra and her entire party from one Typeless/Non-Elemental attack, and will vanish for each person after said attack hits them. More junk spells! I dunno, the last one might be handy. Ultima fucking hurts. Yeah but only like two enemies in the game ever use it, and you can usually take them out before they even get the chance. Besides, she has spells that let her restore her entire party from death to full health AND regenerate HP faster than they can lose it. Point. Kirikaeru (Status Trade) - Kirikaerura (All Status Trade) - Enlighten (Stats Up +) - Enlightenra (Stats Up + [All]) - Cripple (Stats Down +) - Cripplra (Stats Down + [All]) - More redundant spells! Surou (Slow) - Suroura (All Slow) - Heisuto (Haste) - Heisutra (All Haste) - Stoppu (Stop) - Stoppura (All Stop) - Trada (Stat Drain) - Tradra (All Stat Drain) - Kounen (Old) - Kyoufu (Terrorize) - Nagasujujutsu (Drain Magic/Osmose) - Kishoujujutsu (Damage Magic/Rasp) - Tusinbatsu (Double Strike/Quick) - Kei (To Light Up) - Shakou (To Make Dark) - Kashoku (Bright Light/Brighten) - Makkura (Total Darkness/Blacken) - Tusinheisuto (Double Haste) - Tusinheisutra (All Double Haste) - DOUBLE Haste? Delightful! Bahill (HP Leak [Single]) - Bahillra (Super HP Leak [Single]) - Bahillga (Mega HP Leak [Single]) - Bahillja (Giga HP Leak [Single]) - Heifukuheikin (HP Balance) - Kourikiheiken (Ki Balance) - Saikokineshisuheiken (PK Balance) - Jujutsuheiken (Magic Balance) - Taiyouheiken (Sugemo Balance) - Seishouheiken (Chakra Balance) - Renkinheiken (Alchemy Balance) - There is clearly nothing balanced about this character. Please stop pretending there is. Tsuyomeruheifukujougen (Increase Maximum HP) - Tsuyomerukourikijougen (Increase Maximum KI) - Tsuyomerusaikokineshisujougen (Increase Maximum PP) - Tsuyomerujujutsujougen (Increase Maximum MP) - Tsuyomerutaiyoujougen (Increase Maximum SP) - Tsuyomeruseishoujougen (Increase Maximum CP) - Tsuyomerurenkinjougen (Increase Maximum AF) - I rest my case. She can even increase her core stats, possibly permanently, any time she wants. Yowameruheifukujougen (Decrease Maximum HP) - Yowamerukourikijougen (Decrease Maximum KI) - Yowamerusaikokineshisujougen (Decrease Maximum PP) - Yowamerujujutsujougen (Decrease Maximum MP) - Yowamerutaiyoujougen (Decrease Maximum SP) - Yowameruseishoujougen (Decrease Maximum CP) - Yowamerurenkinjougen (Decrease Maximum AF) - And weaken her opponent's already pathetic 1/64th stat and 1/16th speed differentials EVEN FURTHER! [edit] Black Magic [edit] Black Magic is basically pure offensive and attacking. Gravity-based spells also fall under this category. Ankoku (Shadow) - Ankokura (Shadow 2) - Ankokuga (Shadow 3) - Ankokuja (Shadow 4) - Ankokuda (Shadow 5) - Ankokuba (Shadow 6) - Ankokuha (Shadow 7) - Ankokupa (Shadow 8) - Ankokuwa (Shadow 9) - Ankokusa (Shadow 10) - Ankokuka (Shadow 11) - Ankokuta (Shadow 12) - Ankokuna (Shadow 13) - Ankokufa (Shadow 14) - Ankokula (Shadow 15) - Ankokuza (Shadow 16) - So. Bureiku (Petrify) - Bureira (All Petrify) - Furea (Flare) - Megafurea (MegaFlare) - Gigafurea (GigaFlare) - Terafurea (TeraFlare) - Petafurea (PetaFlare) - Now we're copying notes from Disgaea. Grand Cross - And Phantasy Star. Ankoku Cack (Shadow Bomb) - Meltdown - Dorein (Drain) - Desu (Death) - How I pray for it. Degeon (X-Zone) - Gravity (Demi) - Gravira (Demi 2) - Graviga (Demi 3) - Gravija (Demi 4) - Gravida (Demi 5) - Chop an enemy's health to 1/32 of its maximum with a single spell? Hell, why not. It's not the most broken thing we've seen today. It doesn't matter anyway, Demi spells are worthless if they would inflict more than 9999 HP damage. Instead of just doing the maximum amount, they do ZERO damage! Meteor - And a literal world-ending spell for the repertoire? Sure, why not. Comet - Meteo - Meteora (Meteo 2) - Meteoga (Meteo 3) - Meteoja (Meteo 4) - It doesn't matter that it's the same spell, just translated differently in different games - put them BOTH here! Tourendo (W Wind) - Congratulations, you've wasted your time learning not only the most useless spell in Final Fantasy 6, but possibly in the entire Final Fantasy franchise! Altima (Ultima) - Altimara (Ultima 2) - Altimaga (Ultima 3) - Altimaja (Ultima 4) - Altimada (Ultima 5) - Altimaba (Ultima 6) - Altimaha (Ultima 7) - Altimapa (Ultima 8) - Altimawa (Ultima 9) - Altimasa (Ultima 10) - Altimaka (Ultima 11) - Altimata (Ultima 12) - Altimana (Ultima 13) - Altimafa (Ultima 14) - Altimala (Ultima 15) - Altimaza (Ultima 16) - Do we really need sixteen levels of the ULTIMATE SPELL, especially considering the base one is capable of doing well over 6000 damage and the aforementioned damage cap of 9999? [edit] Blue Magic [edit] Blue Magic are unique abilities (not always purely magicial in nature) usually learned from monsters or other enemy combatants by witnessing or experiencing the spell used in battle. In some cases, the Blue Magic user must actually be hit by the spell to learn it, while in other cases, merely seeing it will trigger their learning of it. And as mentioned, they're all basically useless except for Mighty Guard and White Wind. Nothing to see here, folks! I dunno, Aqua Rake was pretty badass in the early stages of Final Fantasy 5. Revenge Blast - Dischord - Storm - Quasar - Condemned - Big Guard - Force Field - Magic Hammer - Rifureku??? (Reflect???) - Pearl Wind - 5th Death (Level 5 Death/L.5 Death) - 4th Suicide (Level 4 Suicide/L.4 Suicide) - 4th Furea (Level 4 Flare/L.4 Flare) - 3rd Defense-Cutter (Level 3 Defense Down/L.3 Defense-Down) - 3rd Konyfu (Level 3 Confuse/L.3 Confuse) - 2nd Kounen (Level 2 Old/L.2 Old) - ?th Houri (Level ? Holy/L.? Holy) - Magic Laser - Beta - Roulette Mk. II - Heifukukopipe (HP Copy-and-Paste) [aka Red & White Reflection] - Kourikikopipe (KI Copy-and-Paste) [aka White and Blue Reflection] - Saikokineshisukopipe (PP Copy-and-Paste) [aka Grey and Pink Reflection] - Jujutsukopipe (MP Copy-and-Paste) [aka White and Yellow Reflection] - Taiyoukopipe (SP Copy-and-Paste) [aka Purple and Orange Reflection] - Seishoukopipe (CP Copy-and-Paste) [aka Green and White Reflection] - Renkinkopipe (AF Copy-and-Paste) [aka Red and Green Reflection] - At least he's honest about what he's doing now. Kihakudenka (% Ratio Switcharoo) - Ruukyousou (Lifelink Drain) - Gekimetsu no Nami (Destruction Wave) - Ranma no Nami (Chaos Wave) - Arasu no Nami (Death Wave) - Kyoufu no Nami (Terror Wave) - This all sounds really damn sinister for something a HEROINE is using. Or learning to use, at least. Harasugenkai (Dispel Bound) - Jigokukanketsusen (Hell Geyser) - Kyokanrokku (Giant Rock) - It doesn't sound like much, but don't sell it short - Killer Croc almost got Batman once with this skill! Goukyuutenjou (Mourning Heavens) - Hareeshon (Hallation) - Daaku Purazuma (Dark Plasma) - MP Basutaa (MP Buster) - Tenkarafurisosogumonogasekaiohorobosu (Destruction Rains from the Heavens!) - LIIIIIIIKE LIIIIIIIGHTNIIIIIIIIING! [edit] Rahtop Magic [edit] The Word "Rahtop" is actually "Pothar" backwards, and "Pothar" is composed of the first three letters in the first and last name of Harry Potter. Basically, these are spells from the Harry Potter Books and Movies. Why are we copying notes from Harry Potter? You have psychic powers, magic that can do literally anything, and a ton of other godlike abilities! Accio - This spell can attract an object to Sandra. The necessary incantation is "Accio" which is usually supplemented by the spell's target. Aquamenti - This sends a stream of water flowing in the direction Sandra points. Alohomara - This spell is used to open a locked door or window. Pointing at a door and saying "Alohomora" will unlock the door. Anapneo - This spell allows Sandra to disperse anything that is causing the target to choke. Dispel Darth Vader's midichlorians, please. Aparecium - This spell makes invisible ink and perhaps invisible items in general appear. Colloportus - This spell can magically lock a door, preventing it from being opened for a presumably limited amount of time. It is easily countered by Alohomora, however. Engorgio - Makes something grow larger. Episkey - Heals minor injuries, but barely restores health itself. Expelliarmus - When used on another magic user, it can drawn upon unused internal energies to temporarily stun sthe person's ability to cast spells. If the target has no magic, it will stun them momentarily all together. I haven't read Harry Potter in a while but I'm positive that's not what that spell does. Finite Incantatum - Interrupts the constant effects of spells, such as Haste, Stop, and other ailment/positive statuses for a short time, but will not fully dispel them in a permanent manner. Impedimenta - This hex makes something slow down momentarily. Impervius - This spell makes the target able to repel water. Incarcerous - Ties someone or something up with ropes which also cut the stats of the victims by a set amount depending on Sandra's own magic powers. Sometimes it might even knock a victim completely unconscious, or drain their stats completely until they are freed. Levicorpus - A nonverbal spell (said inside the user's head) in which the victim is dangled upside-down by their ankles with a flash of light. So you can subdue someone with literally nothing more than a thought? Liberacorpus - Counter-jinx for Levicorpus. Emits a flash of light and frees the target of being hoisted by their ankle. Obliviate - This spell is used to bury or perhaps alter the victim's memories of an event. The person who wants to modify someone's memory directs his or her focus at the victim and utters the incantation "Obliviate". The spell can be undone if the victim is tortured by a powerful means or spell, which can force the memories to resurface. They've since moved up to Neuralizers to offset that problem. Petrificus Totalus - The full Body Bind Curse. This spell is used to temporarily make the victim be frozen in a position much like a soldier at attention, and usually the person falls down. Portus - The spell which turns an object into a Portkey, a device which transports the toucher to a desired destination. The spell's effect will quickly wear off, usually within a minute after casting, as to prevent the portkey from teleporting innocent bystander to the wrong place. Protego - Causes various minor jinxes to rebound upon the attacker. Reducio - Makes something smaller. Countercharm to Engorgio. Can also be used on it's own to shrink a target to a smaller size than they normal can be. Which is redundant as we've already seen she has the MINI spell! Reparo - Used to repair inanimate objects. [edit] Rahtop Curses [edit] These are the three "unforgivable curses" from the Harry Potter series. As a general note, Sandra has never used the Killing or Torture Curses, but she has sparingly used the Controlling Curse on various enemies to get them to reveal information. Why just read their mind with your PSYCHIC POWERS when you can use a highly illegal spell to coerce them into divulging unreliable information? It's bulletproof! Avada Kedavra (The Killing Curse) - The killing curse, incanted Avada Kedavra, causes the caster's hands to shoot unblockable green light, which, on contact with the victim, results in instant death in almost all cases. This is a far stronger power than Desu or Degeon, and can usually kill extremely powerful creatures. However this spell is not indomitable when used on someone with a great level of willpower. Imperius (The Controlling Curse) - The Imperius Curse starts with the incantation Imperio and gives the caster complete control over their victim. The experience of being controlled by this curse is described as a complete, wonderful release from any sense of responsibility or worry over one's actions, at the price of one's free will. However, it is possible for the victim to fight the curse or even completely abate it through great levels of will power. Cruciatus (The Torturing Curse) - Associated with the incantation Crucio, the Cruciatus Curse inflicts intense physical pain upon the victim, which gradually increases in intensity, even to the point it can kill its victim if used too long. [edit] Miscellaneous Magic [edit] Sandra's list of spells mostly are covered in this section. These spells are miscellaneous and while some may normally fall under other classes above, many of these are spells few other magi or wizards can use when compared to the likes of the other classes of magic. Some of these abilities are truly unique to Sandra, such as Maisei or Furasshubakka. Really, she needs MORE powers still? Come on now. Messatsunodama (Sphere of Annhilation) - Kiwadoimeisudama (Dangerous Mace Sphere/Iron Doom) - Gaikaideguchi (World Gateway/World Ripple) - Buudoxuukyou (Voodoo) - Shinnobuudoxuukyou (Super Voodoo) - Super Voodoo Extreme and Super Voodoo XXX are still on backorder. Kitsufuera (Magicflare) - Furasshubakku (Flashback in Time) - Use of this spell allows Sandra to hear that sweet "Back in Time" song by Huey Lewis any time she chooses. Meisai (Disquise) - Diskwise? Sounds like an antivirus program from the Windows 3.1 era. Fujinmeisai (Disquise Female Ally) - Danseimeisai (Disquise Male Ally) - Nokerumeisai (Remove Enemy Disquise) - Then infect him with a virus and watch him lose all of his important e-mails! Ha ha ha! Genzurushindou (Reduce Vibrations) - Kuwaerushindou (Increase Vibrations) - Tsukerufaia (Flame Sabre) - Tsukerublizzado (Blizzard Sabre) - Tsukerusanda (Dynamo Sabre) - Tsukerutida (Tsunami Sabre) - Tsukeruaori (Torando Sabre) - Tsukeruqueku (Tremor Sabre) - Tsukeruhourii (Purity Sabre) - Tsukeruankoku (Corruption Sabre) - Tsukerudoku (Venom Sabre) - Tsukeruinryoku (Demi Sabre) - Ah yes, those "elemental weapon" spells that almost never come in handy. Kuwaerukirite (Bladed Effect Up) - Genzurukirite (Bladed Effect Down) - Kuwaerutekkoudan (Piercing Effect Up) - Genzurutekkoudan (Piercing Effect Down) - Kuwaerudonki (Blunt Effect Up) - Genzurudonki (Blunt Effect Down) - Kuwaeruyadama (Missile/Explosion Effect Up) - Genzuruyadama (Missile/Explosion Effect Down) - Kuwaeruassai (Crushing Effect Up) - Genzuruassai (Crushing Effect Down) - Kuwaerusouon (Sound Effect Up) - Genzurusouon (Sound Effect Down) - Sound Effects?
