We love Virtual Console but man fuck writing a full review of something we just paid six dollars for. Have a Quick Hit instead.

A significantly upgraded version of Starflight, with a personally-driven narrative, a great soundtrack and intense real-time combat atop the already excellent exploration-driven gameplay. It starts off a bit slow, but it really ramps up in fun once you get to explore the huge universe the developers have set up for you. If that sounds like your bag, pick this one up right away. Just stay away from the third game - it's a complete insult to the great game that came before it.
