"TOPAZ! GET A FIRE GOING!" Myen yelled.

"DAMNIT NOT A FIRE, THAT'S NOT HOW YOU MAKE JERKY! I'M MAKING THE DAMN JERKY! TOPAZ GET A PLANK OF WOOD AND NAIL THIS BOAR HEAD TO IT!" Taint followed.

"FIND MY TINY SMOKEHOUSE THING!"

"VALK, IS THAT ENGINE FIXED YET?" Myen continued.

"IT BETTER BE! HEY! WAKE UP!" Taint finished, preparing to load his new toy.

"HALT." screamed a voice in a freakishly high pitched voice. High as in shrill, freakish as in you could still tell it belonged to a man. "Your friends..." the voice spoke. A man with long, shaggy hair and and matching beard crawled his way to the top of Air Grumpkin from the other side. "are no-wwhao-!" was all he managed to get out before slipping and mashing his forehead on the wing.

"Okay Chiggles, get the hell off my plane." Taint said as he pointed his gun at Chiggles. He realized that pulling the trigger would demolish his plane, so he rather unwisely pointed it straight down.

"Oh, this plane is no longer yours. It has been claimed." he spoke.

"No. It's my plane. It's the last damn plane Nolan ever made. For me. So I can fly it." Taint replied.

"Not here, I said. Thats what I was saying. Before I fell."

"Get off my plane I told you, so you don't get it all greasy. My plane that is, with your grease. Greasy fucker."

"Where are Topaz and Valk?" Myen chimed in. Taint looked at him like it was a really dumb question.</p>"The woods... with..." the man said as he tried to climb off the wing, one leg and both arms hanging on to the plane as his other leg dangled, kicking around and trying to touch the fallen tree Topaz was standing on before. "the oth-AAH!" He slid off the wing, failed to touch the tree entirely and hit the dirt.

"Oh for hells- Look, man, you got a dirt smear on my wing!" Taint yelled, hopping on the log and rubbing his fingers across a tiny smudge. "Who the fuck are you, I want to know who to bill."

"This isn't your plane. It's ours. Actually your friends aren't your friends anymore. They're our friends."

Myen sat down on a rock. "So they're okay then?"

"The boy isn't."

"WHAT?" Myen shouted, standing up again.

"He tried hitting us with a hammer, and Loz bounced his head off a tree." he answered.

"PPFFFTTT-HAAAHAHA!" Taint burst out, barely keeping his balance on the wing. Myen just stood there.

After Taint's laughter began to slow, the man spoke up again. "He curled up into a ball, and we shoved him into a tarp and Loz dragged him back to camp."

"HAAAHAHAHA*SNNRRK* OW! HAHA! DAMNIT! STOP! THIS IS TOO MUCH!" Taint said, and then jumped up on the wing and laid back. "HOOOO! HAHAHA! Did you get his journal?"

"Our journal." The man answered.

"Oh shut up, quit passively stealing our stuff!" Taint said, sitting back up.

"Where's this camp at?" Myen asked in a demanding voice.

"Well, I'd like to take you there, but It's friends only. Very exclusive." He answered.

"Hahaha, goddamn. This dude's out of his tree." Taint said, leaning back again.

"What's your name?" Myen asked.

"Horman. Like Herman, with an O."

"Shit hang on I gotta get a notebook, writin' that name down." Taint said, hopping off the wing and climbing in the plane.

"Those are our notebooks!" Horman yelled. "Don't use them!"

"So, Horman, how do we become one of your friends?" Myen asked.

"Loz. He declares this and that. He declared this plane and everything in it ours, and then declared your friends our friends."

"So can we go to your camp and meet Loz?"

"No no no no no no. Friends only. I told you this."

"I want to go so I can meet Loz, and become a friend. That way everything's cool, okay?"

"No. How can that be cool?"

"Okay then, how about you go home, and we just follow you from a distance?"

"Thats even not cooler. Thats warm."

"Room temperature style." Taint said, exiting the plane. He scribbled in a notebook he had found. "Hermon? With an O?"

"Horman. And thats our notebook." Horman replied. Taint tore out the page and wrote on the next one. "Thats our-"

"Borrowing it. Chill." Taint interrupted, closing the book and throwing it over his shoulder, back into the plane.

"...notebook." Horman finished.

"Go get this Loz guy, tell him Taint Bigsby wants to see him about an airplane." Taint said, sitting down on the stairs to the plane.

"Okay." Horman said, who then stood up and walked into the woods.

A few moments passed. "Should we follow him?" Myen asked.

"Fuck that. He'll just get all bitchy and he's annoying." Taint replied.
