SUPER SMASH BROS: BIG FUCKIN' SHOWDOWN
Above is the map of Beatdown Island, where the lardpirates are all gathering to pummel the living shit out of each other with nintendo characters in Smash Bros Brawl. Each contestant will take turns picking characters until everyone has 3, and then in reverse order they each pick their starting position on the map (last to pick a character is first person to pick their starting position). Once the characters and positions are set, the names will be scrambled again to determine turn taking order.
BASIC TITS:
Everyone starts with one territory, and on their turn can choose one territory adjacent to any of their territories to capture. If it is unoccupied, then it is taken without any struggle. If its owned by another player, then the attacker and defender will choose one of their characters to enter the fight on the stage that is being attacked. For example, if a fight takes place on position 12, then the stage is Rumble Falls. Each person picks one character from the three they chose to start with, and fight on the predetermined stage. time, stock and item rules are determined by the defending player, except under special conditions.
ADVANCED TITS:
Taking Prisoners: When you defeat another player, a coinflip will be made. If you call the flip correctly then you will have the choice of taking the character you just beat prisoner. If you choose to do so, the defending player can no longer use that character until they are returned to them. Each player may only have one prisoner at a time, but may trade them off to other players, or even release them to their homes, as they see fit. To rescue a prisoner, you must attack the player in possession of the prisoner, win, and then call the coinflip.
Hey, items!: To keep shit interesting, Item Boxes are scattered on the map. If you hold a territory with an Item Box for 3 full rounds, then you obtain an item given to you at random. Each player can only hold three items at any time. Most of them are one-use-only unless otherwise noted. Items are as follows:
Alpha Communicator - Allows you to call in one other player to fight on your team to defend any of your territories. The assisting player cannot be taken prisoner.
Iron Curtain - Disallows attacks on one territory until your next round.
Poison Blowdart - Disables use of one player's characters until your next round.
Big Burlap Sack - Automatically take a character prisoner after you defeat them. Useable only while attacking.
Hostage Negotiator - Automatically free one of your characters held prisoner.
Bear Trap - used when you are attacked or are attacking. You get one free kill on the opponent when the match starts.
Prison Camp - Placed on one of your controlled territories. As long as you control that territory, you may hold a second prisoner. You cannot hold two prisoners from the same player. If you lose that territory, you return to a capacity of one prisoner and the prisoner held in the camp goes to the new owner of that territory. Owning two prison camps does not give you a three prisoner capacity, but you may move a prisoner from one camp to another. If you have two prisoners and capture a second prison camp with prisoner, you must free one prisoner.
Spy Satellite - lets you see the items of other players, useable once.
Bully - allows an allied player to attack a territory with you, on your team.
Sun Tzu's Cookbook - Allows the attacking player to set the rules for the match.
Smoke Bomb - makes a character immune to being taken prisoner once. Cannot cancel the Big Burlap Sack item.
1-up - allows for a rematch after you lose a battle. Your character cannot be taken prisoner unless you lose the second round, and you cannot take a prisoner if you win the second round.
Sticky Fingers - when you win a fight you may take one of your opponent's items.
Alliances: Allowed. Why the fuck not. Run your diplomacy however you wish. Trade prisoners to one another for items or territory. Exchange information, plan coordinated attacks. But remember, when it comes down to it, there can only be one winner.
